How to Make Antiperspirant Deodorant at Home

With the arrival of summers, deodorants and antiperspirants tend to play a very important role in our every day regime. A report internationally posted, claims that people spend over $18 billion a year on antiperspirants. Now that’s a huge amount! While another shocking report claims that antiperspirants and deodorants are the leading causes for Alzheimer’s disease and breast cancer in women. This is because of the chemicals present in most antiperspirants, especially aluminium. Now we can’t give up on deodorants and sweat the entire day. So, as usual, simple kitchen ingredients will come to your rescue to help you stay dry and fresh the entire day without using any thing that may cause harm to your body.

Recipe:
You will need-
1.6-7 drops of lemon juice
2.Cornstarch

Method-
Just take a few drops of lemon juice and apply it to your underarms. Let it dry for 5-10 seconds. Now just rub a small amount of cornstarch over the lemon juice. This is one of the greatest warriors against sweat. It keeps me fresh for the entire day and it couldn’t be easier than this!

Caution: Don’t use it just after shaving!

Lemon: Lemon being a circus fruit, helps to keep you fresh and also fights against bacteria.

Cornstarch: Cornstarch is known to tighten your pores and absorb sweat. Hence, it will make sure that you don’t sweat.

This recipe is super easy to make, I am so happy and satisfied with this unlike other tedious recipes for deos. After reading about the harmful effects of deodorants and antiperspirants, I won’t go back to the store-bought option at all. So make sure to try this, and let me know how this turned out for you 🙂
