Ask IMBB Gang

Rubina asks:

I am Rubina, age 28 and I have combination skin and a few months back, I became a mom hence I am not able to take care of my skin. As a result, my skin and complexion have became dull, so please guys suggest me a good CTM routine or any other remedy to get my glow.

Thank you 🙂

    1. Try home remedies to begin with – try saffron+yogurt+besan face pack. For CTM routine, you can try Clinique’s 3 step skin care routine. It’s common after pregnancy to lose the glow, try fruit packs and go in for clean up or facial once in a month

    2. Hey Rubina,

      First of all congratulations! *pompom*

As for your skin, then as Jomol suggested, nothing is better than home remedies. I would suggest you go for the Lotus Ultimo Gold Facial once a month. Try the L’Occitane Immortelle range or Oriflame Optimals Even Out Day and Night Creams. They are really good. *preen*

But most importantly, make sure you are on a healthy diet with plenty of fruits and drink lots of water too. Take care. 🙂 🙂

      1. You’re always welcome dear! 🙂 Since yours is combination skin, The Body Shop Seaweed Pore Cleansing Facial Exfoliator or the Clinique Exfoliation Scrub should be worth a try. The Amway Artistry scrub is also good. Among the cheaper ones, I think the Nivea Aqua Effect Skin Refining Scrub. I just love the fresh feeling it leaves me with… *happydance* (though I can’t use it often)…
My personal favourite is the Forest Essential Tejasvi Ubtan, since my skin type is normal to dry. *shy*

By the way, I would like to congratulate the entire IMBB gang – Rati, Jomol, and co. Needless to say, you beauties are doing a fantastic job! I have been a silent reader of your blog ever since its inception. *oye balle* My previous comment was the first time I made myself heard. It’s a huge pleasure to see Indian women take a keen interest in beauty and fitness. Best wishes to all of you… *haan ji*

    3. Hi Rubina, a very simple yet effective tip to make your skin glow is just to give a 2 minutes massage to your face with your finger tips with your fav. moisturiser; atleast once a day.If you can do it both in the mornings and evenings, it would be more beneficial. I have seen the changes in my face myself after doing this… *haan ji*
