How to get ready for gym?
Hello there IMBB beauties, I hope am not spurring more thoughts of diet and exercise into your thoughts often: P I hit gym 3 to 4 times a week. For me gym is kinda addiction now, I’ve joined gym two years ago and am going on a regular basis all these years…….. yuppie.
Four MAJOR reasons to hit a gym
1.In a group we are highly motivated, when u see/hear the results from others , we are all pepped up to achieve the same results like them ( This feeling is similar to this one– when we see another woman’s fancy bag/shoes or mac and chanel we want to have them too 😀 😀 😀 )
2.You can buy exercise /yoga or any form of physical activity videos and cd’s, but how often we actually use them or for how long the interest lasts ? Let us be honest with this one … I have friends who actually tried and tested these home remedies to lose weight and ended up trying more and more easy ways.
3.Diet alone will take a long time to reduce weight. Physical activity is a must for fast results.
4. Exercise boosts your immunity , stamina and sex life. For me it is an energy booster and license to guilt free hogging 😛 (my goal is to maintain weight , people who are aiming to reduce should ignore this . Once you get the desired results you can move to this mode )
How to get ready for gym?
Mental blocks about joining a gym and how to overcome them
1. Setting a goal
Keep a realistic goal, Aim for 2 to two and a half kg in the first month.
2. Not able to achieve desired results
Diet with proper exercise is the key to shed kilos in a healty way. Do not overeat, the current regime will help you lose the existing flab, not the one you keep adding on along with the exercise.
3. Weight is not reducing
Check your weight every two/three days, not every other hour , sometimes it may give u an illusion that nothing is working and you may end up being lethargic (oops! The harsh corporate biatch …….. ) again a lil pic
4. Am too fat and embarrassed to join a gym
This is a harsh truth, but nobody will agree this ! ! ! Few confess this to their friends. For such people, try to talk to the personal trainer and most important when you first visit a gym, take a friend who is into gym and things. This will give u an moral support and also see the people at gym, most of them will be on the bulky side and they are also striving hard like us to achieve the results.
“When you hit the gym, you can see more overweight people who do not bother about others and carry on with their workout – those are the ones, who have tasted the results of gym. So if they can do, we all can do it. “
5. Am too old to join a gym
My gym has specific ladies hours, once I saw this old women, who is at her sixties and I asked her (after getting much friendly) why are you hitting gym at this age? Usually I see only older men at gym, not women …….
She said “she is diabetic and her doctor suggested to hit a gym and do low intense cardio workouts to keep her sugar at bay” She added that mingling with such lively kids at the gym make me feel younger inside out 🙂
6. I do not look good in tracks – this is the lamest of all
You do not need hi-fi tracks and sweatpants to hit a gym. A comfort fit cotton kurtha and salwar pants will do all the covering up job and you can carry on the workout at ease . 🙂
A piece of my mind to all those hour glass/lean women at gym:
Miss perfect figure – Do not stare at struggling folks, if possible help them out or move out.
Miss itsy bitsy kapde wali – Do not come in sports bra and micro shorts, until u want all the men at the gym to hit u and women to call u a biatch.
Miss flexi body – Do not do stretching exercises in the middle of the gym, until you are getting paid for it!! !
Miss whatsoever – Do not brag about your figure to anyone at gym, until someone asks about IT.
Miss lil know it all – Do not go around and advise other women at the gym until asked for some.
PEACE OUT !!!!!!!!!!! 😛 😛 😛 Am so relieved after writing the last points 😀 😀
