I’m back with another post and today we would be talking about how to remove brown spots on your hands. Brown spots are also known as age spots which are generally caused due to an increase in the production of cells known as melanocytes which lead to increase of melanin in the skin. These brown spots are not painful but they are certainly not good looking as well.
Brown spots can occur anywhere on the face, neck, hands, shoulder etc. It increases due to genetic factors, sun exposure or aging of the skin. Although getting rid of brown spots completely requires a lot of effort, you can certainly fade them using these home remedies.

1. Lemon Juice Treatment:

Due to natural bleaching properties in lemon, it can help to remove the brown spots on the hands easily. Take one lemon and cut it in half. Now squeeze the juice and apply on the brown spots on your hands. Allow it to dry and rinse off with cold water. Another way to get rid of the brown spots is by mixing olive oil and lemon juice together and applying on your hands. Rinse off with cold water later.

2. Aloe Vera:

Aloe vera gel contains natural acids which help in skin regeneration. Also due to its healing properties, it can help to fade away the brown spots easily. Scoop out some fresh aloe vera gel and apply on the brown spots. Leave it for at least an hour and wash off with cold water. If not aloe vera gel, you can also apply aloe vera juice and leave it until it gets washed completely.

3. Turmeric Treatment:

Turmeric is a natural skin whitener which helps to fade away the brown spots easily. Also, it proves beneficial in promoting glowing and bright skin. In order to make a paste, take some turmeric powder and add milk or water to it. Make a thick paste and apply on the brown spots. Wash off once dried. Milk contains lactic acid which helps to lighten the brown spots on the hands further.

4. Olive Oil Massage:

Using olive oil is another easy way to get rid of the brown spots on your hands. Take some olive oil and heat it for some time. Check that it’s not too hot and massage it well on to your hands. Wait until it gets completely absorbed and wash off any residue with lukewarm water. As it contains a high amount of Vitamin E, it plays a major role in lightening the brown spots on your hands.

5. Sandalwood Powder:

Sandalwood powder contains anti aging properties which can help to reduce the hyper pigmentation on the skin. It is effective in lightening the brown spots on the hands without much effort. Take two spoons of sandalwood powder and mix some lemon juice and rose water to it. Mix together and make a thick paste. Apply on the brown spots and rinse off when dry.

6. Plain Yogurt:

One of the simplest yet effective ways to treat age spots on hands is by application of plain yogurt. The good bacteria present in the yogurt can help to break down the melanin easily. You can massage your hands with Plain yogurt or simply add some aloe vera gel with plain yogurt and then apply on the hands. Rinse off with plain water.

7. Castor Oil:

Castor oil contains anti oxidants which can help to lighten the brown spots on the hands easily. Also, it contains nourishing properties which hydrate and moisturizes the skin deeply. In order to fade away the brown spots, apply castor oil on it regularly. Leave it overnight and wash off with cold water.

8. Potato And Honey:

Potato contains natural bleaching properties which help to promote glowing skin. It also helps to deal with brown spots on the hands. Honey contains natural humectants which moisturize and hydrates your skin. Grate some potato and mix some honey with it. Apply on the brown spots and leave it for some time. Wash off with cold water.
