I hope you’re enjoying my articles these days. The skin under our eyes tends to become loose and sagging once we reach late 30s. Since this loose skin can make you look tired and older, you must treat it. So if you’re also facing this issue and looking for solutions, here they are!
Regular usage of good eye creams can prevent loose skin under your eyes. But if you have not been taking good care of your skin, start using an eye cream now. Choose one with a lot of Vitamin E or antioxidants to improve the skin in this area and promote a youthful skin. Make sure you pick up a cream that gets easily absorbed.
Ice therapy is a great way to treat sagging of skin. Use ice on this area to improve blood circulation and to promote healthy, tight skin. Take an ice cube and wrap it in a clean cloth. Now, massage this cube on loose skin in an upward direction. Do this for around 5-10 minutes and then let remaining water dry on its own.
Use lots of rose water
Rose water is a natural astringent, which can tighten your loose skin and also promote glowing skin. Also, it helps in maintaining healthy and glowing skin. Take some rose water and apply on the under eye area. Allow it to dry on its own. Another method – take two cotton pads and soak them in chilled rose water. Now keep them on your eye and relax for some time. Repeat this remedy every day before going to bed.
Use astringent under your eyes
In order to tighten the skin, it is important to use an astringent on your under eye area. Astringent contains special properties which can tighten your skin. It also helps in controlling excessive oil production and keeps the pores closed.
Aloe vera soothing mask
Massaging your under eye area with aloe vera is one of the best remedies that can help you treat loose and sagging skin under the eyes. Aloe vera contains malic acid, which can improve the elasticity of the skin. It also acts as a natural skin moisturiser and keeps your skin hydrated. Scoop out some fresh aloe vera gel from the leaves and massage it your under eye area. Wait for some time and wash off with cold water. Repeat this remedy twice or thrice a day.
Massaging your under eye skin with a natural oil can boost blood circulation, thus improving th elasticity of the skin. An oil can keep your skin firm, soft and glowing. You can use olive oil, coconut oil, argan oil or sunflower oil to massage the under eye area. These oils also contain antioxidants which will keep your skin well moisturised.
Honey contains a lot of antioxidants which can prevent loose and sagging skin under the eyes. Massage your under eye area with honey every day before going to bed. Let it sit for some time and wash off with cold water once dried.
Drink more water! When you’re dehydrated, your skin starts sagging and losing its elasticity. So, in order to keep your skin supple, hydrated and tight all the time, you should consider drinking water regularly. Water helps to flush out the toxins from the body and keeps your skin clear, tight and supple.
