How to Use Epilator in the Bikini Area

I am back with another post. Today, we would be talking about how to use an epilator on the bikini area. Epilators are very easy to use on any part of the body. Epilation is an easy way to get rid of tiny hair on the bikini area. You can simply use an epilator for touch ups or to completely remove the hair. Waxing is great too but it is definitely more expensive and painful than epilating. Epilation is the best way to get rid of the hair on the bikini area. Here, I am sharing the right way to use an epilator on bikini area.

How to Use Epilator on Bikini Area

1. Choosing the epilator for bikini area:

You should choose a dry and wet epilator for bikini area. Epilators are either battery operated or cordless. Choose one as per your preference. You should choose an epilator which comes with a sensitive area cap. The cap can be used on the sensitive parts and helps in making the hair removal less painful. You should always choose epilators that come with adjustable speed settings as per the thickness of the hair.

2. Use the right head:

Epilators come with several heads which are specially designed to epilate different areas on the body. Take some time to properly identify the right head for the bikini area. The right type of the head will give you the best results.

3. Observe the hair length and trim:

Before you start epilating the bikini area, you should closely observe the length of the hair and trim it. You should trim it before epilating, so the hair does not get tangled during the process. Do not trim it too short as it may lead to ingrown hair problems.

4. Exfoliate:

Exfoliating your skin before epilating can help to open the pores and also allow the hair to come out easily. You should exfoliate the bikini area using a mild scrub and wash off with cold water. Exfoliation also helps to get rid of the dead skin cells and makes the process smooth.

5. Using the epilator:

You should move the epilator in the direction of the hair growth. Move your epilator quickly so that it does not lead to pain. The faster you move, the lesser pain you will feel. You might need to run the epilator several times on the same place to achieve the hair less skin.

6. Apply a soothing gel:

After epilating, you should apply some soothing gel on the area. Epilation can leave you with slightly red and inflamed skin. It is always good to apply some frozen aloe vera gel on the epilated area. If needed, you can also apply some coconut oil to soothe the area.
