Today’s review is about another product from Huda Beauty. Even this lipstick was something I was super excited about when she came out with it. The shades in this range were so alluring that I went ahead and grabbed some of them. And, trust me, I can justify picking up 5 shades in one go. The shade I will be reviewing today is called Bombshell.

My Experience with Huda Beauty Bombshell Liquid Matte Lipstick:
I love, love the packaging of Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipsticks. The packaging of her liquid lipsticks is super cool. The lipstick comes in a white sliding carton with open lips biting the lipstick in between. This means you can definitely see the colour from the carton itself.
The lipstick tube itself looks very classy with the frosted tube and the Huda Beauty logo on top. The shade name is mentioned at the bottom of the tube. The applicator is a standard doe foot applicator; nothing special about the applicator.
First, this lipstick smells delicious. It smells like cake batter. ?? The shade Bombshell is a beautiful pinky nude and will flatter fair to medium skintones. The liquid lipstick is very pigmented but this particular shade is slightly patchy and takes a little effort to work. Two coats give a perfect, even coverage.
The consistency of the liquid matte lipstick is quite liquidy. But since the applicator wand is long enough, it provides enough control over the applicator. I have not noticed any feathering with this shade. I was expecting longer drying time since it was so liquidy but, surprisingly, it dries down quickly within 1-1.5 minutes.
It glides on effortlessly and is not at all patchy on the lips. The thing that I like about Huda Beauty liquid matte lipsticks is that in comparison to the other liquid lipsticks these don’t cling onto the dry patches. Somehow these lipsticks manage to look even, whether I have dry patches on my lips or not. You can definitely put on a second layer because the lipstick won’t look or feel cakey on the lips. It is not a transfer proof lipstick, hence it does transfer a bit.
It feels super lightweight and comfortable on the lips; but when I have lunch, it completely wears off, which was a major disappointment from a liquid lipstick. I got 4 to 5 hours of wear time without drinking or eating.
