The Winner Selection Process for the Giveaway
We are allotting serial numbers to all the entries. To make the selection of winners completely impartial, the winners are selected through Random.org. On the right side of random.org you can see the following widget-
This widget generates a random number between the min/max limits that you specify. So for example there are 800 entries in the giveaway. We will fill the minimum as 1 and maximum as 800. Now when we press ‘generate’ it will generate a number from 1 to 800. That will be the serial number of the winner. We will choose both the winners this way, one after another.

Upcoming Changes on the Rati Beauty App
We took your feedback for the improvement in the app an we heard you!
We are bringing a new version of the app with the following changes.
1. Bookmarking an image/video
Yes we know you’d like to bookmark something in order to visit it later. Now you will have an option to bookmark an image/video and you can visit you profile and see everything that you have bookmarked.

2. Reply to Comments
In the new version you’d be able to reply to some user’s comment by directly pressing a ‘reply’ option, and that user will also get notification about your reply.

3. Improved search and Search Page
Yes our search is not functioning properly. The reason is too technical to go into. But we are improving it this month. The search would start functioning as good as it is on IMBB. Also, we are populating the search page with videos and images that are must-watch for you. That way you can scroll down the search page and see our best content.

4. Repeated comments and Comments not displayed
We know that our Android users are facing the problems that they are not able to see all the comments in the post and they see same comments repeatedly. We are working on that. It’ll be done this month.

5. Improved Video Player
We would be using our own video player from now on instead of the native video players in the individual phones. So both our Android and Iphone users will have the same video experience. Also, they will be able to comment/like while watching the video. We are also working on having the videos ‘inline’ i.e. the videos will play in the feed only as you scroll down. That will take some time and we’ll do it in our next version. 🙂
