Huda Beauty Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette Warm Browns Review

I am back on IMBB after a really long time. Today I am going to review Huda Beauty Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette Warm Browns. I am quite fond of their lipsticks and that’s why bought this mini eyeshadow palette. Here’s how it fared.

My Experience with Huda Beauty Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette Warm Browns:

Huda Beauty Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette Warm Browns contains 9 shadows of 1.1 g each with a beautiful golden glitter shade in the middle surrounded by various light and dark matte shadows. It is a mini palette, which includes a little mirror but no eyeshadow brush. This is very nice, travel-packaging with a magnetic closure.

The ‘Warm Browns’ palette features various shades of red, mauve and brown. It also has a golden glitter shadow along with lighter shades. My personal favourite is the golden glitter shadow followed by the dark brown shade which is next to it. These shadows have a powdery texture and they all blend really well but the lighter shades are not very useful.

All of these shadows are highly pigmented and smooth. I am a big fan of eye makeup but cannot apply it perfectly yet. I mostly use my fingertips to apply my eyeshadows. I just apply two shadows with my fingers and blend them well and they look pretty nice on the eyes. I mostly use the top three shades.

The golden glitter shadow is not very pigmented, so it takes me at least 2-3 minutes to just make this golden shade show up on my eyelids. Other than this, I do not have any major issue with the pigmentation, texture or consistency of the shadows. I have also used one shadow as a blusher and one as a contouring powder and they worked well for my skin tone. So, it has proven to be an amazing, travel-friendly and versatile palette for me.

I have not noticed any fall out during or after application – and this is the best part. The worst part is that these shadows do not have any staying power on oily eyelids. I have oily eyelids and these shadows do not last even an hour on my lids. Especially the golden shade disappears within 30 minutes of application. To sum up, I would say this is a good palette with nice, warm and wearable shadows but the longevity is poor. You may try to use a good primer underneath if you really love these shades.
