Huda Beauty Samantha #7 Eyelashes Review

I am sure most of you know about the Middle Eastern beauty, Huda Kattan, founder of Huda Beauty, which sells the most amazing false lashes. Lucky for us girls in the USA, Sephora started selling Huda beauty lashes and I couldn’t help but pick a couple of styles for myself.  This review will be on the Huda Beauty lashes in the style #7 Samantha.

What it does:
Accessorize every makeup look with these gorgeous lashes. Huda Beauty Classic False Lashes are a cult favorite and come in an array of sophisticated designs—from Giselle to a Lana. Made of synthetic mellow fibers, these high-quality lashes are very durable, and do not need mascara.  These lashes are vegan, cruelty-free, and made from synthetic mellow fibers and a cotton band. Huda Beauty Classic False Lashes were created by lash guru and leading beauty personality, Huda Kattan.

My Experience with Huda Beauty Samantha #7 Eyelashes:

These lashes are described as medium volume, natural style. These lashes are stacked version of the #1 Giselle lashes, which are more of natural and everyday type of lashes.  This particular style “Samantha” is much more dramatic hence more suitable for special occasions or parties. There lashes are super long, voluminous and very fluttery.  The style and cut of the lashes with all different length hair gives a very dramatic look in a most natural-looking way.

All Huda Beauty lashes are made of synthetic fiber as opposed to human, and they have a cotton band. The band is black and very pliable hence it fits comfortably on my eyes; they blend in easily with my natural lashes. These lashes are the right size for my eye hence I did not feel the need to trim them.

Since these lashes are very thick and full, I did find them to be a bit heavier than my Velour silk lashes, but they still do not feel uncomfortable once you get used to it.

As per claims, these lashes can be re-used for up to 15 times. I haven’t worn them that many times, so I cannot support this claim, but the lashes do seem very well made and I am sure if you take care while handling and removing them, they will easily last you that long.

Overall, I do like these lashes, but due to the very dramatic style of these lashes, they may not be for everyone. This style is especially not suitable for a person who is not used to the look and feel of false lashes or if you have a hooded or smaller eyes. These lashes also in no way look natural, there is a distinct “yes, she is wearing false lashes” look. But for the amazing length and volume these lashes provide and complete my eye look for special occasions, I will recommend them.

• Special occasion/party wear appropriate.
• Very well made.
• Synthetic fiber which I prefer to use.
• Flexible cotton band.
• Black band makes it easy to skip the eyeliner.

Cons of Huda Beauty Samantha #7 Eyelashes:

• Super dramatic style, not for everyday use.
• Lash hair has a slight sheen to it unlike human hair lashes.
• Not one of the most lightweight lashes out there, but once you are used to them, you can hardly feel them.
• Not suitable for hooded or small eyes, also not for those people who are not used to wearing false lashes.
