Today, I am reviewing a fragrance called Hugo Boss Hugo XX Eau De Parfum for Women.
Product Description:

Top Notes: Lychee, Blackcurrant and Mandarin
Heart Notes: Basmati Rice and Jasmine, Sambac
Base Note: Sandalwood

INR 2500/- for 40 ml. I got it for INR 1800 after discount.
Packaging:
This comes in a sturdy round glass bottle. It is a 40 ml bottle and looks so cute sitting amongst other perfume bottles. The cap fits snugly and due to its size, I find it easy to carry in my bag. The bottle is transparent while the liquid inside is pale golden colored which makes it look more sophisticated.
My Experience with Hugo Boss Hugo XX Eau De Parfum for Women:
This is a new addition to my perfume collection. I bought this because I wanted to try out a floral fruity fragrance and this was just what I wanted. It has the top notes of mandarin, blackcurrant and litchi. The middle ones are rice, jasmine and sambac. While, the base note being sandalwood.
As soon as I sprayed it, I could easily detect mandarin and blackcurrant. The opening is refreshingly delicate and you can easily pick up the notes. I couldn’t detect litchi, though. I was actually surprised to know that I could even detect these notes because I couldn’t do that so clearly in Elizabeth Arden Beauty. The middle notes are floral, I could detect jasmine and it lends some sweetness to this fragrance. It settled to a wonderful soft fruity floral scent.
The fragrance is not at all dull and has some sensuality that is not offensive at all. It is very feminine, yet, stands out from other fruity-floral compositions. It is a fragrance with happy and playful vibes and is apt for spring and summer use. The scent is delicate enough to be worn to one’s workplace. I feel this is a fragrance that can be worn by women aged 20-40 years.
The only drawback I feel is its longevity. It stayed for only three hours on me. I could smell it if sniffed my skin closely, but there was hardly any projection. Since I love this fragrance a lot, I spray it whenever I feel down. Longevity depends on individual chemistry too, a friend of mine has been wearing this for the past two years and loves it because it stays all day on her.

Even i prefer long lasting ones but This is a lovely fragrance 🙂
