Hydrofil Moisturizing Cream Review

Hydrofil Moisturizing Cream Review

Dear Beauties,

Hydrofil Moisturizing Cream Review

A few months ago, my right hand, especially knuckles area went completely dry due to some skin infection. I tried everything but nothing was working. The dryness increased day by day and eventually I started getting rashes and that’s when I freaked out and planned to visit a dermatologist.  Fortunately, one of my friend’s suggested to try out Hydrofil Moisturizing Cream.  It was suggested to her by her dermatologist for extreme dry skin conditions. I thought why not give it a try, especially since it was recommended by a dermatologist.

Hydrofil

Product Description:

Hydrofil is a specially formulated mousturizer, which helps to replenish skin’s moisture and protective lipid barrier with advanced non-comedogenic ingredients. Hydrofil contains phospholipid – Lecithin, a natural substance found in all living cells, that helps reconstitute the deficient hydrolipidic film of the skin. Hydrofill also contains Aloe Vera the natural trsuted and time tested mousturizer, Vit E in hydrofill keeps your skin soft and supple by promoting epithelialisation. Light liquid paraffin & Silicone oil in hydrofil creates occlusive film to seal the moisture into the skin. Propylene glycol in Hydrogfil is trusted humactant which absorbs moisture from atmosphere. To obtain best results , use Hydrofil cream regularly.

My Experience with Hydrofil Moisturizing Cream:

This is the best moisturizer I have ever used till date! Need I say more? After using the cream for two days, skin on my knuckles was completed healed. It left my skin soft and supple. The consistency is like whipped mousse and is extremely light. It gets absorbed immediately leaving the skin soft and moisturized. To be honest, I was astonished at the rate it got absorbed in my skin. Does not feel heavy at all, no oily residue whatsoever. With continuous usage, it also made my skin smooth and radiant.  I usually apply it once every morning and it keeps my skin hydrated all throughout the day even in AC environment. For extremely dry-skinned beauties, you may have to re-apply it in the night. I have normal skin on the body, so once in a day is enough for me. I do apply it on elbows and ankles where skin tends to get a bit dry at the end of the day and this moisturizer takes care of dryness amazingly well.

Hydrofil

The fragrance was a pleasant surprise as I thought being prescribed by dermatologist, this would have that weird chemical smell, but I was totally wrong.  The fragrance is so fresh and stays for a couple of hours. Its not a fragrance of flower or anything, but reminds me of those baby products. It totally lifts my mood and is not empowering at all.

This is a multi-purpose cream as per my friend’s dermatologist.  It can even be used on the face for all skin types, though I have never tried it on face. It can also be used by men as an after-shave cream. I apply it after waxing and the result is smooth and supple skin!

IMBB Rating:

4.5/5

All in all, a perfect moisturizer for daily wear, light in consistency and gets absorbed in a few seconds, leaving the skin well hydrated and supple. The only problem is availability. I don’t find it easily available in all medical stores. I have seen this in Mumbai, but not able to find it here in Pune 🙁 So, I grab the tub once a month when I am in Mumbai.

To be honest, I find this economical and better than most of moisturizers I have used including TBS body butters which are my absolute favorite! TBS body butter costs anywhere between Rs. 500 to Rs. 600 for 250 ml and we get this at 500 gms for Rs. 330! Now, isn’t this a steal?

Do I Recommend Hydrofil Moisturizing Cream?

Yes Yes Yes!! This is my HG moisturizer and I will continue to use it forever! Of course, I love other body butters and will use them, we do need a change every once in a while 🙂

Hope this review was helpful, until tomorrow take care and stay beautiful!
