I Love…Mango Face Mask Review

Hello everyone,

Hope all of you are enjoying the weekend. It is a long weekend for us here in Australia, as Monday is Australia Day. I’m preparing for the birth of my baby in a few months and also looking forward to sharing some reviews with you guys this weekend.  “I Love…” brand comes across as something a bit similar to Body Shop, especially the fragrances, but also something which isn’t as rich in goodness, but is priced cheaply.  I have tried shower creams and body butters from this brand and they are definitely good to give some variety to your shower routine, but also quite decent for the price. So imagine my surprise when I found face masks from this brand recently! I know these masks have been available in India for quite some time now, but it’s new to Australia. There were around four variants available but because of my love for mangoes (and my recent cravings for mangoes), I really wanted to pick this one up. Since it is a peel off mask, it’s difficult to store leftover and I found the price quite steep for a single use face mask.

My Experience with I Love…Mango Face Mask:

As a face mask addict, I was excited to try this mask. We are at the peak of summers here in Australia, and what better way to treat yourself than a tropical peel-off mask? This comes in a single use sachet, but the product is a bit excess for single use. Since peel-off masks cannot be stored without them getting hard, I used the whole sachet in one go by extending it to my décolletage area.

Product is of a rich yellow colour and is a bit thin and runny in consistency compared to other peel off masks I have tried.  Smells absolutely yummy –just like Kensington mangoes which are in-season at this time. After cleansing and drying my skin, I applied an even and thin layer on my face neck and décolletage.

There was an initial cooling sensation and I did not feel any irritation or reaction at all.  I left the mask on for 20 minutes. Please check if the mask has fully dried up before peeling it off.  This mask was surprisingly easy to remove and came off without any trouble.

I Love...Mango Face Mask

I initially didn’t notice any glow but my face looked fresh and supple. However, after half an hour, I noticed a glow which lasted for a day.  This is a good refreshing mask which freshens up my skin, but does not do much more.

Pros of I Love…Mango Face Mask:

  • Smells delicious.
  • Contains mango and cucumber extracts to refresh skin.
  • Comes in a single-use sachet which is good for traveling.
  • Makes skin look supple and fresh after use.
  • Very easy to remove.

Cons of I Love…Mango Face Mask:

  • Gives a glow which does not last long.
  • Difficult to apply because of the runny consistency.

IMBB Rating:

3/5
