I Love… Moisturising and Reviving Coconut Face Mask Review

Hi Ladies,

Hope you all are doing great and enjoying your weekend. For me, weekends are about finishing up pending work and taking care of the house. So, while was I cleaning up my cupboard, I decided to pamper my skin with a face mask which I had purchased some weeks back.

I had read a review for I Love… Strawberry Face Mask, but it wasn’t available so I picked up I Love… Moisturising and Reviving Coconut Face Mask. I bought it along with some I Love… Body Wash and Body Butter. I had never used anything on my face with coconut, so picked it up.

Claims:

I Love... Moisturising and Reviving Coconut Face Mask Review1Price:

INR 120 for 15 ml.

My Experience with I Love… Moisturising and Reviving Coconut Face Mask:

It comes in a sachet with a lovely colour combination of yellow and blue. As soon as I ripped off the sachet from the top, I could get a weird smell of coconut which is not too pleasant; but, it did not irritate my nose either. It’s transparent and colourless. The texture is very sticky, gloopy and gooey mess which is evident from the swatch.

The application was not difficult, but to take it off my hands it did take lot of water and quite some time. I realised one sachet is enough for 2 uses and I asked my mother to wash off her face and asked her to use it as well. I left it on for 10 to 15 minutes and within the first 5 minutes, it made my facial skin feel tighter.

It looked like a shiny gel of my face. I started worrying about taking it off as it was just sitting so tight. I started to take it off from my forehead, it did start coming off easily, but it hurt like crazy. I literally had tears taking it off my entire face and I was feeling sorry that I put this mess on my face. I could not bear the burning, stretchiness and itchy feeling so rubbed ice. Though, it did not feel dry at all, I applied moisturiser. The itchiness had not gone away even after hour an hour. I can see open pores on parts of the face which I never did earlier except cheeks.
