I Love Strawberries and Milkshake Body Butter Review

Today, I am going to review the Strawberry and Milkshake Body Butter from the “I Love Cosmetics” range. I had never heard of this brand before until I came across this on an e-commerce site. The name was enough to tempt me to buy the body butter.

Retails at $1.99 for 200 ml.
Product Description:
This is what is on the cover of the lid: Fall in love again; there’s something about the super smoothness of a thick creamy aroma, united with a burst of fresh strawberries, that leaves the senses elated and the tastebuds-a-tingling!
Packaging:
It comes in a round transparent jar packaging with a black lid on top. The butter has baby pink tinge to it. It looks very simple yet classy.
My Experience with I Love Strawberries and Milkshake Body Butter:
I have dry and rough skin, which gets worse during winters. So, I am always on the lookout for heavy moisturizers. My hands, feet, elbows and knees tend to get dry even during summers. I prefer moisturizers over oils as they leave me all greasy and I am too lazy to re-apply moisturizers, so prefer heavy ones. I absolutely love products that smell fruity and I had to pick this up after reading its description.
It has a lovely fresh strawberry pulp fragrance. The texture is pretty thick, but easy to rub and it disappears quickly into the skin leaving it completely moisturized, soft and smelling delicious.
What I love about this product is that I never felt the need to reapply the moisturizer as it keeps my skin moisturized the entire day. I never felt greasy or heavy and I never had to wait for the butter to dry up.
By the way, during the first few minutes after application, it smells like strawberries dipped in diluted rum 😉 which eventually subsides into a fresh strawberry fragrance in a couple of seconds. I use this along with my VS strawberry and champagne mist and they go very well together.
Pros of I Love Strawberries and Milkshake Body Butter:
- Awesomely moisturizing and there is no need to reapply after every few hours.
- Yummy mild fragrance that lasts long.
- Feels very light and can even be used in summers.
Cons of I Love Strawberries and Milkshake Body Butter:
- Contains parabens.
- Some might not like the initial smell, (but I love it).
- No SPF (some might find this as a con, but I can ditch the sunscreen because I am indoor in AC most of the time).
- Tub Packaging, most of them find it unhygienic.
IMBB Rating:
4/5 (yes, it’s moisturizing, has fantastic staying power and delicious fragrance).

Parabens and the tub packaging are very common cons with most of the products.
Have seen this in target will try……… I didnt like some of the testers I tried by there were different variations
