My Experience with I Love… Strawberries & Milkshake Shimmer & Shine Lip Gloss:

I love how non-sticky it is on my lips, which is its key advantage. It’s far far better than a lot of lip glosses that are way too sticky. Some glossy lip gloss tends to dry and create these whitish lines around the inside edge of my lips, which makes it really annoying, this one doesn’t do that at all. It has a slight smell of strawberries while applying though later turns into a spicy scent which I like. It fades away within a few minutes.

I can apply this on bare lips for glossy and very mild shimmer look. Otherwise, I like applying this over any lipstick colour to give it great gloss and hints of shimmer. The texture is very nice and perfect for any lip gloss. It is very ideal for everyday use and gives you the perfect nude shiny lips. The shade compliments the subtlety of the makeup. I mostly stick to basic khol and eye liner, so the nude shade works very well with this look. A very neutral shade and would complement any skin tone. I am more of a lip balm and lipstick person. I don’t like lip glosses, but this was an instant hit with me. Definitely gives a shiny look and leaves lips smooth and moisturised. I have tried a few other lip glosses which end up hardly giving me any colour. I am sure the other variants in this range, which are coloured do give out nice colours.

The staying power overall is about 3 hours. The shine and glossiness does reduce in 1.5 hours on my lips. 15 ml is a lot of product and the supply seems to be endless. The down side to this is the applicator. It’s just not convenient and on my tiny lips quite a bit of the product is on the sides of the lips, which have to be cleaned after the application. I would have preferred the brush instead.

Overall, it’s a nice lip gloss with a neutral colour.

Would I repurchase/recommend I Love… Strawberries & Milkshake Shimmer & Shine Lip Gloss?

I would recommend it, but don’t expect something exceptional. It’s a decent lippy. I would not repurchase this shade, but maybe some other shade provided I finish this.
