Illume Eternal Nomad Thai Lily Sunlit Bronzing Lotion Review

By Kritika Prakash

Hey all you beautiful ladies out there,

I had gone to the States recently where I noticed this awesome product lying quietly at a Sephora in San Francisco. As I walked past through it, I found the product to be really interesting and totally new. The name of the product is “Thai Lily Sunlit Bronzing Lotion” from Illume’s Eternal Nomad collection. Recently launched, this product has created quite a buzz in the entire makeup market there. I am not a very big fan of a combination of glitter and makeup but this product has definitely changed my overall thinking about applying some glitter on one’s face.

Around $20 for 6.5 fl oz.

Product Description:

Sure to give you an instant glow with a touch of some glam and glitter, this moisturizing lotion even makes your skin soft and smooth at the same time with only a little application. With a great fragrance of Thai lily and a hint of musk, you are sure to fall in love with this product in no time!

Bronzing Lotion

I love pink and I love the packaging of the product! It is so cute that it will surely make heads turn. I love how it adds to the overall charm of my makeup table! Hehe. The hints of golden colour look lovely on the product by the way. Although I am pretty sure that it will appeal to everyone, the only drawback about the packaging of the product is that it is a bit bulky and heavy.

My Experience with Illume Eternal Nomad Thai Lily Sunlit Bronzing Lotion:

To start with and to be really honest with you guys, I really don’t use a lot of makeup on my face. I generally try and avoid it since my I have a tendency to get acne easily because of my oily skin. I was a little skeptical about using this product hence. Strangely, there was something unique about this product that made me want to use it.  I purchased it thinking that if I don’t use it, I will pitch this product nicely to my mother instead 😛 As I got to use it, I instantly fell in love with it. The Thai Lily fragrance with hints of musk of the product was so good and strong that I smelled of it for like 5-6 hours (I even got a lot of compliments because of it!). My skin felt softer and more moisturized than ever before. I liked how it gave a perfect finish to my skin.

Bronzing cream

The unique things about this product is that it is completely distinct from other products in every way. If you are looking to get a bronze touch and want a little shimmer on your skin then go for this product as there are very few lotions in the market that are even close to what this product offers to you.

Talking about the price of the product now, I feel like it doesn’t completely justify it. Since this product is more of a party one and not one to be used on a regular basis, I think that the product is a bit overpriced. Even though it comes in a 6.5 fl oz pack, it is difficult for anyone to finish it before it expires.

A few pros and cons of this product now:

Pros of Illume Eternal Nomad Thai Lily Sunlit Bronzing Lotion:

  • Awesome fragrance that lasts long.
  • Cute packaging.
  • The shimmer part of the product makes it classy and unique.
  • Moisturizes the skin completely and makes it soft and smooth.
  • Gives the skin a perfect finish.
  • A definite party product.

Cons of Illume Eternal Nomad Thai Lily Sunlit Bronzing Lotion:

  • A bit overpriced.
  • Heavy, making it totally not travel friendly.
