Hi All, Please Welcome Ankita as our eigth entry in our ‘IMBB $300 International Eye Makeup Queen Contest‘
Hi IMBB beauties! This is my first entry for the eye makeup queen contest. For this look, I’ve pair a gold and pink-purple eye makeup with soft pink blush and soft nude pink lipstick to balance out the dramatic eyes. Here is the complete breakdown of the look.
Products used :
1. MAC Cream color base ‘Improper Copper’
2. MAC eye shadow ‘Amber lights’
3. MAC eye shadow’Cranberry’
4. MAC eye shadow ‘Plum dressing’
5. MAC Smolder
6. MAC Select moisture cover concealer NC 45.5
7. VOV black liquid liner
8. Maybelline colossal volume mascara
9. Brushes : The body shop eye shadow application brush , The Body shop line softening brush, MAC 222 (blending), random unbranded brush
10. A pair of false eye lashes by Essence
Steps :
1. Applied MAC CCB Improper copper all over lid
2. Applied MAC Amber lights e/s on inner half of lid and MAC Cranberry on outer half on lid using TBS eyeshadow application brush.
3. Blend the eyeshadows lightly with a blending brush (MAC 222). Next, blend in the crease using MAC 222 with MAC Plum dressing eyeshadow. Build up the shade in the crease using more product till you reach the desired color you want.
4. Apply MAC Smolder on waterline, MAC Plum dressing on lower lash line, MAC Amber lights in inner corner , compact powder under brow bone. Make sure the eye shadow on the lower lash line meets the shadows on the lid in a V-shape at the outer corner. Get the desired shape and clean up any mess using a Q-tip
5. Apply concealer under the eyes (I have applied it later so that it doesn’t get messed up because of any fall out) , apply a pair of false eyelashes (optional), black liner and finish off with mascara.

1. MAC Studio fix fluid foundation NC 40
2. Chambor silver shadow compact
3. Maybelline dream mousse blush ‘Soft Plum’
4. Brushes: MAC 188( foundation and blush), The body shop face and body brush (compact)
Lips :
Mixed 2 lipsticks : Revlon Super lustrous Frost ‘Grape Juice’ and Revlon Colorburst lipstick ‘Rosy Nude’

Ankita I lovvvedd how the overall look turned out to be. :jalwa: Plum dressing is a drooolll!! I am getting it. 😛 😛 I love such shades of purples. They work great for everyday wear. :thumbsup:
Thank you Rati 🙂 I’ve started using my MAC eyeshadows more often since I purchased ‘Soft brown’ and I love how smooth and easy to blend they are! Plum dressing is gorgeous..so it Sable and Cranberry. Sable on lid and Cranberry in crease looks so nice for everyday wear..check my link at the bottom of this comment!
