Hi All, Please Welcome Sarah as our ninth entry in our ‘IMBB $300 International Eye Makeup Queen Contest
Hi IMBB girls! My name’s Sarah and this is my entry for the IMBB Make Up Contest! *cheers* This is in fact my first tutorial done with pictures so I’m very excited. The look I am going to show you is perfect for summer and was inspired by coral reefs and the ocean.

So let’s get started!

Make up I used:

* Almay tlc liquid pump fondation
* L’oreal true match powder
* CoverGirl foundation setter
* CoverGirl Classic Color Blush in Iced Plum
* Too Faced Pink Leopard Bronzer with Too Faced Kabuki Brush

Eyes:

* Generic Eye Shadow Pallete
* Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Liner
* Too Faced Lash Injection Mascara

Lips:
* Too Faced in Centerfold

Now on to how to create this gorgeous summer look!

To create a beautiful flawless look, we will start off with Too Faced Primed and Poreless primer. You’ll want to use this to cover up any blemishes you might have on your face. After you apply your face primer, you’ll want to apply your Too Faced Shadow Insurance eye shadow primer next. This is a wearable look and it is summer, so this primer will help keep your make up from moving. Now onto the foundation. I like to start off with Almay’s tlc liquid pump foundation. So apply this evenly all over your face and blend with a foundation sponge. Next, you’ll take your L’oreal True Match cake powder and, with the sponde enclosed inside, apply evenly on face. After, apply CoverGirl mineral powder with your kabuki brush evenly over face. This will help hold your foundation in place, preventing it from slipping and sliding. Now, if you want or are very fair skined like me and want to get a beautiful summer glow, you’ll want to use Too Faced Pink Leopard Bronzing powder and, with your kabuki brush again, apply evenly over face. Now to the eyes!
step1

Apply white eye shadow all over your lid and brow bone. This will help the colors appear brighter and softer looking. I added a tiny bit of light blue to create a gorgeous summer sky look.
coral eyeshadow
Next, I used a bright coral pink color on a little over half of my eyelid. This color will represent the beautiful coral of the ocean.

reddish orange color
I then applied a reddish-orange color on the crease of my eye and halfway on my lower lid, making a V shape at the corner like so. This color can represent the hot summer sun.

summery pink
Next, apply a bright summery pink on my lower tear duct and in between the coral pink and red-orange, blending them. This pick will represent the color of those flavorful drinks we like to sip on at summer parties.

yellow eyeshadow
On step five, apply a tiny amount of yellow shimmery eyeshadow on the lid. Blend evenly, so that the coral pink still shows through. Yellow can represent shimmery sand at the beach.

sparkly blue eyeshadow
Next, apply a deep sparkly blue on your lower lid and half of your upper lid like eyeliner. Thie blue will represent the deep, sparkling ocean.

eyeliner mascara
Now apply your eyeliner as close as you can to your lash line on both upper and lower lids. Don’t apply it too thick. You don’t want to over power the blue. Apply your favorite mascara. Your eyes are now done.

full face
For the blush, smile big and blend a soft red or pink onto the apples of your cheeks. Lastly, apply a soft shade of lipstick. Remember, leave the being bold to oranges and reds on your lids. Don’t use a bright and bold lipstick or it will create an unbalanced look. You, my dears, are now summer ready!! I hope you had fun and good luck!
