Hi All, Please Welcome Anuradha again as our 17th contest entry in our IMBB Most Fashionable Party Look Contest!

Okay! So I had this friend’s birthday party a week ago and had a blast there. With the onset of the humid Kolkata summer-any such bash usually accompanies with look cum body bashing. Steaming inside and melting (makeup) outside-summer parties call for only casuals in light shades and loose fittings. However, people like me-who still finds enough nerve to dress up during parties in summer try these designer cotton kurtis and Patiala salwar. Pick up these kurtis in any vibrant color (for me they are always dark ones) and nice thread work on neckline-team it up with a loose patiala salwar with some zari and sequin work along the sides and borders and you get a most comfortable yet fashionable get up for small family and friend’s gatherings and parties . With the comfort of this dress, makeup too can be varied and carried safely! So here are the looks:

(As I said: the pictures are from the party and so you may get a fair share of arms, feet, shoulders, noses of my friends along with me in the these pics Hehe :D)

Because of the nice neck design as well as the enervating weather -I have used minimal accessories-only a pair of earrings and a bangle. However, this dress is wearable at night parties too with some trendy earrings and a dash of bronzer.

Makeup:

Face: Revlon New Complexion makeup-the only makeup that can beat the Kolkata summer heat and humidity to stay all day long 🙂 :), Maybelline Whitestay UV compact powder, Lotus Natural Blend Blusher in Brew Ginger
Eyes: Maybelline Chai Latte eyeshadow quad-used the dark brown color on the lids and dusted the golden shade on the brow-bone, Tips and Toes Gel Eyeliner (This is one of the finest chances I have taken while experimenting with no-so-famous brands. This is absolutely water and smudge proof and retains the damn dark pigmentation till I wipe it off at the day’s end 🙂 , Lotus herbals Kajal, Avon Supershock mascara (waterproof, light on the lashes, most easy to remove :))
Lips: Lakme lip Artist in Terracotta along with Streetwear lipgloss (a transparent shimmery shade-dunno its name 🙂 -that without any fail faded in 10 minutes :D). With the emerald green kurti-many lip shades can be tried –but since I always end up doing heavy eyes-I cant afford to use too much vibrancy on the lips like fuchsia or maroon. So stuck to this warm yet muted color 🙂

    1. thanks!!! off late I have become obsessed with this green shade!!! I have 3 kurtis and 2 salwars of this emerald green shade and now whenever I go shopping with Mom, she says-“show colors except green” 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀
