Indian Wedding Makeup Look

Indian Wedding Makeup Look

Hi Ladies,

Gurpreet asked me to create a dramatic smokey eye including cream and maroon colors and this is what I came up with. I really hope I met your expectations, if not, please describe the look you want me to create or maybe even send me a photo of a smokey eye you want me to recreate.

Indian Wedding Makeup Look

Products Used in This Tutorial:

  • ELF mineral eyelid primer.
  • NYX Jumbo Pencil in milk.
  • Coastal Scents Hot pot ME15.
  • Coastal Scents Hot Pot CM05.
  • Coastal Scents Hot Pot S03.
  • Essence Long Lasting Eyeshadow in It’s Magic.
  • Coastal Scents Hot Pot ME24.
  • L’Oreal Black Eyeliner.
  • Clinique High Length Mascara.
  • Revlon Fabulash Mascara.
  • Rimmel Black Eye Pencil.
  • MaxFactor Lipstick Night Valley Red.
  • NYX lipstick in Iris.
  • Estee Lauder Blush in Popourri.
  • Elf Contouring and Blush Palette.

Step 1 and 2:

NYX Jumbo Pencil

Step 1

Always prime your eyes with an eyeshadow primer and that will prevent the eyeshadow from creasing and fading away quickly. Now, take a white eyeshadow base and apply that right under your eyebrows and blend it out evenly.

Step 3:

CS Hot Pot

Step 2

With an eyeshadow brush, take a golden shimmery highlight color and place that under your eyebrow with a patting motion.

Step 4:

Burgundy

Step 4

With a small eyeliner brush, draw a thin line with a maroon colored eyeshadow. That way, we can blend it out easily later.

Step 5:

CS

Step 5

Now, taking the same eyeshadow with a crease brush and darken the crease going in all the way towards the tear duct.

Step 6:

Hot Pot

Step 6

If your eyeshadow looks the same, go ahead and grab a matte red eyeshadow and place that over that burgundy eyeshadow. After that is done, take your blending brush and blend out the harsh lines.

Step 7:

Step 7a

Step 7

Grab your favorite gold eyeshadow base and apply that in the center of the eyelid that we have left out.

Step 8:

Step 8a

Step 8

Now, pick up a gold eyeshadow that looks similar to the base and pat it on the gold base.

Step 9:

Step 9a

Step 9

Take a precise brush such as an eyeliner brush and pick up the burgundy eyeshadow and apply that under your lower lash line.

Step 10:

Step 10a

Step 10

Take the same eyeshadow that you used under your eyebrow with a pointed brush and place that in the tear duct area.

Step 11:

Step 11a

Step 11

Create a winged eyeliner with your eyeliner and also apply your favorite black eye pencil on your waterline.

Step 12:

Finish off the look with your mascara applying at least 3-4 coats. Since, I am not a bride, I would highly suggest for you to wear fake eyelashes 😉

Finished

Additional Info:

This is just how I made it.  You can change certain steps if you would like to. I know that Indian brides like to have a thick winged-in eyeliner or pencil, basically wearing the eye pencil under the lower waterline and winged-in towards the tear duct, but I didn’t do that.

Now, I am going to show you two different lipsticks that I think would look best with this smokey eye.

Sahar1

Lips: In the first picture, I am wearing NYX lipstick in Iris which is a golden shimmery nude color and in the second picture, I am wearing Max Factor lipstick in Night Valley Red.

Sahar 2

Blush:  In both the pictures, I am wearing the Estee Lauder Blush In Potpourri. I highly recommend using a golden shimmery highlighter for above the cheek bones because that will look super pretty in the pictures.

Bronzer: I used ELF contouring and blush palette.

Sahar 3

Please let me know what you think of this look and that would mean the world to me 😀

Have a good day everyone,

xoxo.
