Inglot is an underdog in the world of makeup and beauty. They offer a plethora of amazing beauty products, which are always in stock too, unlike MAC. 😀 I bought this foundation in April and here’s its review.
INR 1500 for 30 ml.
A subtle cream foundation that provides natural coverage. It is matte to touch, yet with added illuminators to give a dewy appearance. Vitamin E, peptides, and special polyesters are combined with a unique silicone and gel base to keep all skin types illuminated. Perfectly suitable for usage in an airbrush machine.
My Experience with Inglot AMC Cream Foundation:
The brand might claim “cream” but it’s actually like any other liquid foundation. It comes in a glass bottle with a pump dispenser. It is quite easy to use. At times, the product gets accumulated on the pump; you can clean it but still, it leads to product wastage. Overall, the packaging is quite basic, and definitely like any other liquid foundation.
The foundation has a nice consistency. It is quite easy to blend. You can easily spread the product and then blend it with the tool of your choice: fingers, makeup blender or brush. I prefer to use my stippling brush because I don’t like using my fingers to blend in my foundation and a lot of product is required with my Beauty Blender.
The brand offers over 32 shades in this range and there’s something for everyone. I use the shade MW 102. The shade is way lighter than what is shown on their official website (thank God, I didn’t buy it online), but it suits me perfectly until…it oxidises. Yes, this one oxidises and eventually becomes greyish. Bummer, right?
It gives a nice satin smooth finish on the skin without making skin oily or greasy. I feel it is apt for all skin types as it keeps the skin hydrated yet matte. It has tiny amount of micro shimmers but they’re barely visible even after blending. On my normal skin, this foundation does not give a dewy effect; it’s more of a satin effect.
As far as coverage is concerned, I was expecting at least medium coverage but this one offers light-medium coverage. You can achieve maximum coverage only with a brush but then the results won’t last long anyway. This foundation does not last even 5 hours properly on my skin. I have tried it with two different primers but this foundation just refused to last on my face.
One more thing, my first laser session left a slight dry patch on my upper lip area. I applied this foundation after 2 days of the session and this foundation clung on to the dry patch, it just would not blend. Also, it creases on certain areas on my face, like on my laugh lines.
So overall, as you can guess, I am not impressed with this foundation at all. I do not have the ingredient list also as nothing is mentioned on their website and I have lost the outer carton. Maybelline Fit Me! costs nothing in front of this one and yet works so well for me in all season. Even Colorbar or LA Girl BB creams have better staying power and coverage.
I won’t say Inglot is not a good brand and that I would not buy any other product from them, but this is really an average foundation. Only people with a flawless complexion would like it but then a BB cream would work the same for them.
Pros of Inglot AMC Cream Foundation:

Cons of Inglot AMC Cream Foundation:

- Overpriced for the performance.
