Product Purchased by IMBB
This is my first buy of the year and I am glad I got this one. I’ve always been eyeing this illuminator in shade number 63 since a very long time. And finally, I got my hands on this under IMBB sponsored scheme. Let’s read on more to see how this works for me.
Light textured, oil free liquid illuminator that contains pearlescent molecules. Shines and shimmers wherever you apply it, giving definition to the body contours. Perfectly suitable for usage in an airbrush machine.
My Experience With Inglot AMC Face And Body Illuminator 63:
This illuminator comes protected in a very classy looking complete white cardboard box. The shade number and the ingredients are mentioned on the box. The packaging of the product is good and since it comes with a pump, it is very convenient to use. I like pump packaging the most when it comes to liquid applications. This kind of packaging makes it easy to drop the product without any mess and there is no wastage of the product. There is a transparent cap that covers the pump and it locks and unlocks properly without any issue. However, when I received the courier, the product looked smaller in size than it appeared on the ecommerce site. I’ve used Lakme absolute perfect radiance serum earlier and I was expecting it to be of that size. When I received the illuminator, it was a 15ml tiny bottle and I was sure that I am going to finish this early before its shelf life of 9 months.
This range has many colours to choose from. Out of which, shade number 61, 62 and 63 are easily available in India. You can read the full review of this illuminator in shade 61 here. I always wanted to buy a peachy bronze highlighter and so, I liked this shade of illuminator more than the other shades from this range. It is a pinkish bronze colour illuminator with subtle microshimmers in it. What’s good about this shade is that it is suitable for all kinds of skin tones. It is a universal yet a very versatile shade. When it comes to highlighters and illuminators, I feel champagne and gold shades are very common and wanting to have a pinkish illuminator with bronze effect made me buy this shade.
However, I am not very happy with the consistency of the illuminator. I find it to be a little watery and I can say it’s on the thinner side. At first, when I tried to pump the illuminator on my hand, I could notice that the consistency of the liquid was runny. Then, I tried to shake the bottle a couple of times and tried to pump again. It was the same and I received the liquid that was thin and runny. I wish the consistency were little thick.
There are many ways of using this illuminator, both on face as well as body.
- You can mix this with the foundation you use for a dewy makeup look.
- You can also use it alone as a highlighter on your face by highlighting your cheekbones or nose.
- Use it before the application of foundation to moisturize your skin and add a healthy glow to your face.
- Since this shade has a pink tint of colour in it, this can also be used on the cheeks as a subtle shimmer blush to add a subtle flush of colour to your cheeks.
- In case I am planning to wear an off shoulder dress, I like to highlight my collarbones with this one.
Since it is a light textured formula, it provides a very subtle shine and it doesn’t look that prominent. In case you wish to buy this one, make sure you don’t blend the product very much as it looses its shimmering effect on blending. This is meant to apply just like that without blending it into the skin. The best way to apply this is to not blend much and allow it settle on its own for the illuminating effect to be visible. Also, like it claims, it is oil-free liquid and doesn’t feel sticky at all. Overall, I am quiet happy and satisfied with how this one fares for me, but I also wish it was a little more pigmented and looked very prominent on application. It’s an illuminator that provides subtle glow and shine and makes your skin look naturally beautiful.
