Inglot Colour Play Eyeliner 202 Review

Inglot Colour Play Eyeliner 202 Review

Hello Beautiful Ladies,

I am loving Inglot these days and that’s the reason that I am trying some different kind of products from this brand.  Today, I will be reviewing a colored eyeliner from Inglot which belongs to their Color Play range.  Color Play collection of Inglot has some funky and unique shades of eye colors as well as lip colors. As most of the lip colors were way beyond my comfort zone, I decided to try one of their eyeliners.  The liners in this range come in 6 different shades and the one I bought is numbered 202.

Product Quantity:

0.3 g / 0.01 Us Oz.

Price:

INR 850

Packaging:

This eyeliner comes in a basic black packaging with a black lid. The black cover does look classy, but as there is no indication of the color on the packaging, the lid needs to be opened in order to select the color of choice (this especially becomes difficult if you have more than one color).  The liners are in a retractable form and have an inbuilt sharpener. I always thought that retractable liners do not need a sharpener, but this proved me wrong. The sharpener is provided in order to make the tip of the liner pointed, so that you can get a precise application.  Although, I would think many times before using the sharpener, as sharpening means wastage of product, which I would never want.

My Take on Inglot Colour Play Eyeliner 202:

Inglot’s Colour Play Eyeliner in 202 is a pink colored liner which does not have any shimmer.  It is completely a matte color which is neither too bright nor too dull. Pink eyeliners might be difficult to carry off, but this color is so subtle that it makes the eyes pop, without making them too bold.  This color looks beautiful in the lower lash line and gives a girly effect. Honestly saying, it doesn’t look too good on the upper lash line, if used alone, but if used with a thin line of black liner, it makes a perfect combination. The liner is decently pigmented.  A single swipe does impart a good amount of color, but to get the bright intensity, at least 2 swipes are required.

The liner is really easy to use and glides on easily without much effort. Staying power of the liner is also pretty average, it does not smudge or spread, but it does fade with time. I have oily lids and so it takes about 2 hours for the color to start fading, and after around 4 hours, it becomes so light that it almost looks like a different color of pink.

Overall, I liked the fact that Inglot has something different and being a girl, I love everything that is pink and so, I love this one too. But unfortunately, I am not overly impressed with the liner, I do like the way it looks on my lower lash line, and I do think that pink would look good on the lower lash line only, but it didn’t work nicely on the upper lash line.

Pros of Inglot Colour Play Eyeliner 202:

  • Beautiful and unique kind of liner.
  • Smooth to apply.
  • Decently pigmented.
  • Retractable and also comes with an in-built sharpener.
  • Looks beautiful on the lower lash line.

Cons of Inglot Colour Play Eyeliner 202:

  • Price is slightly on the higher side.
  • No names, only numbers.
  • Color fades away quickly, especially if you have oily lids.

Would I Repurchase Inglot Colour Play Eyeliner 202?

I don’t think that I would buy this or any other color from this range, but I would definitely try at least one of their lipsticks.

Would I Recommend Inglot Colour Play Eyeliner 202?

If you are a fan of pink liner, or you want something for your lower lash line, then this can be tried, but otherwise, no!
