How are you all?
So there is one more product from Inglot today. It is my first ever blush (No, I am not kidding). I wanted to have one from both their powder and cream blush range and find out which one suits better on my normal to dry skin. So I picked up this one from the cream blush range and powder blush review will be following soon. Read on to find details on this one.
Price: INR 750 for 5.5 g
Shelf life: 2 years 11 months
This comes in a pot kind of packaging with a screw cap. Since this is my first blush, so when the SA was showing me, I thought such a small tub for 750? But then, when she made me try them, before she could warn me, I picked up almost a pea sized amount on my hand. Oh my gosh, I felt like I could paint my whole body with that amount. Then for the second time I picked up a pin sized amount and that was I think sufficient for one time use. Then my thought was “so much amount for 750 yaa?” 😛
In short, this is a much pigmented blush and I am quite satisfied with the amount I got in this mini tub. Well, coming to the shade, it is a very pretty rose pink shade with just a hint of mauve in it. I loved the shade so much, it just lifts up my face and I can use it every day or night, occasion or no occasion. I think this shade will suit both English and Indian skin tones.
Talking about the texture, it is a cream blush so it will be suited to normal or dry skinned women only. Oily skinned beauties stay away from this one. For me, I like the dewy finish color flush it gives on my cheeks. I have always preferred the dewy finish on my face over dry, so I like it to the core. It stays for quite well, say 2-3 hours without any primer or foundation. I used it over moisturiser on my face. I cannot comment on its staying power over a base, but it would obviously be more.
It blends perfectly. Like you have to practice on picking up the correct amount (see in the pictures) and then dab and blend. It blends beautifully and you need not go any harsh on your skin with this one.
Now, one problem is that I see an oily residue on the edges of the cap of the tub if I use it after many days. The oil of the cream blush seems to separate, I think, so that makes it risky to carry in the bag. That is the only negative point I could find out but despite that I would still give this blush 10/10 and I would love to buy more shades from this range. All dry/normal skinned girls-try it and you will love it I am sure.
• Beautiful rosy shade which instantly lifts up the face.
• Creamy texture which dry skinned ones will love.
• Very pigmented; a small amount is enough for one time use.
• Apt amount for the price.
• Paraben free.
• So many beautiful shades they have to offer.
• It gives a nice dewy effect to the cheeks.
• Stays for a good amount of time and the staying power would be even better with a base/primer.
• No offensive smell at all.
• Leaves an oily residue on the corners of the lid sometimes.
• You can easily over do with these as it is upper pigmented.
Imbb rating: 4.75/5 (-0.25 for the oily residue)
Recommendation/repurchase: yes for both.
Until next time, take care!
