Inglot False Lash Effect Mascara Review

By Gayatri K

Hello everyone!

This is my first review on this amazing website, and I am naturally beyond excited. 🙂 All that I know about makeup, I know because of IMBB, and I am so grateful for that. This site is truly the Wikipedia for makeup. Today I am going to review the Inglot False Lash Effect Mascara.

My Experience with Inglot False Lash Effect Mascara:

Inglot False Lash Effect Mascara Review2

My natural lashes are long, so I never really bothered about applying mascara in the past. I had tried most of the Maybelline and Lakme mascaras, but they tend to clump my lashes without providing any additional length or volume AT ALL. It was proving to be hard to find good and affordable mascaras which could provide any major difference to my lashes, without clumping them. So, for a very long time, I was not very keen on mascaras. However, I absolutely LOVE eye make up and as we all know it looks the best with dramatic and glamorous lashes. Then I tried the MAC Studio Fix Lash Mascara and I loved it! And that’s when I, thankfully, realized just how important a good mascara is. It completely changes your look.

Since then I moved on to the L’Oreal Million Lashes Mascara as it’s hard to keep repurchasing MAC products every few month when you live on pocket money. 😛 However, last month even this mascara got over and on an impulse, I decided to try this new Inglot one. I love Inglot products, so I was very excited to try this one. It came in the quintessential Inglot black packaging box. It does look quite sophisticated. Nothing fancy in it; it is standard packaging. I think the packaging is cute, but definitely not the best. They could have made it look a bit prettier and classier in my opinion. But this looks good too.

It has surpassed all my expectations. I can’t stop raving about it. This is easily one of the BEST mascaras I have ever come across. It makes my lashes look so good! Like I mentioned above, my natural lashes are long, but this mascara makes them even longer without looking ‘weird’ with just one or two coats. And it also curls them very beautifully. The lashes are separated which gives them a very voluminous look. I am absolutely in love with this mascara! It is also extremely pigmented (easily one of the most pigmented and darkest mascaras). The jet black colour looks gorgeous. It is much more pigmented than the Million Lashes Mascara in my opinion.

It does not clump the lashes, but I suspect it might clump a little if you use too many coats back to back as it’s a very thick formula. It is also not waterproof which might be a con for some. Personally, I am not a fan of waterproof mascaras now as they are a pain to remove. I prefer using them sparingly only for special occasions. This mascara is perfect for everyday use. It is also hypoallergenic and has never irritated my eyes. However, it takes a slightly longer time to dry when compared to the Loreal Million Lashes Mascara, but that is definitely not a deal breaker. This is my HG mascara for now. 🙂

To sum it up,

Pros of Inglot False Lash Effect Mascara:

• I absolutely love the extremely pigmented, jet black colour. It is easily one of the most pigmented mascaras.
• It does what it claims; kind of gives a false lash effect.
• It does not clump, and provides very good length and volume.
• The brush helps to curl the lashes and lengthens them.
• Hypoallergenic; it has never irritated my eyes.
• It is very easy to remove since it is not waterproof.

Cons of Inglot False Lash Effect Mascara:

• The fact that it is not water proof might be a con to some.
• It takes a little longer to dry when compared to some other mascaras, but it’s not a major con.

IMBB Rating:
5/5

  1. Welcome aboard, Gayatri. I am sure this mascara is going to become out of stock after this review. You have reviewed it very well and I can actually see how true it is to its claims. I always buy waterproof mascara, but I am definitely buying this one. Loved it. 🙂

  2. On the way, now after this review cannot wait, the after pic, wow, ‘awesomatic’ if a word like that exists 😛 Lashes O Lashes, you can bat them away. Pretty looking! and a hearty welcome Gayathri 🙂 *thumbs up*
