Hi Everyone!!!

My Take on Inglot Freedom System DS 471 Eyeshadow:

It is a light matte olive or khaki green with silver and grey-colored micro shimmer in it. It can be used as a perfect khaki crease color. I have used this color as a complete lid color a few times and it doesn’t show up that well on my lids, but when used on the crease, it gives a beautiful touch of khaki. The glitter doesn’t look over the top at all. It can be easily worn during day time if used as a lid color.

This shade, like other Inglot eye shadows, is superbly pigmented. A single swipe gives the exact color as seen in the pan. It is buttery smooth in texture. There is absolutely no fall out. The glitter is very fine, doesn’t spread to my lower lids or entire face, and is not at all chunky. This eye shadow blends beautifully and easily.

Staying power of this eye shadow is pretty great too. It stays on my oily lids for 4-5 hours without any base underneath, and almost entire day with a base. There wasn’t any creasing at all.

It comes in a transparent plastic case. This case can be used to store the eye shadow in case you do not have a palette. I use this case for storage purposes too.

Summing up, this eye shadow has all the advantages of Inglot eyeshadows in terms of staying power, texture and pigmentation. The color is pretty unique, after all its khaki with shimmer.  It works wonderfully as a crease color for me and will work great as a lid color for those who have less dark circles or lids, because it will show up on their lids better.

  2. It’s a very unique color for an eyeshadow I must say! Shame it doesn’t show up on you Surbhi 🙁 It probably wouldn’t on mine either, I tend to stay away from neutral greens/browns as an eyeshadow wash. You’re right though, about the color givingyou depth for your crease! Do you think you can pair it up with a pretty shade of pink, or using a black creme base and pat that dirty green on top of it, see if it helps give the color some more depth, maybe like a smokey khaki green eye? 🙂 Thanks for the great review either way!

    xoxo

    1. Hi Anjum. I tried this color by applying a black creme base beneath, and you were right. it does give more depth. Thanks for this great suggestion Anjum. 🙂 I can use this color now. 😛
