I bought 5 eyeshadows from Inglot and this review is on #74 which is one of the shadows from the that particular haul. Out of those 5 eyeshadows, I enjoy wearing just 3, and I would like ot mention at the beginning, this one does not belong to that group.
Eye shadow that contains special silicones and treated pigments. It boasts high lubricity and a silky touch combined with easy, smooth, long lasting, and crease resistant application. The unique Freedom System allows you to mix and match products and colors to make your own custom designed palette of almost any size.
My Experience with Inglot Freedom System Eyeshadow AMC Shade 74:
I love to wear eyeshadows every day; however, it requires some skill and a slightly longer “getting dressed time,” but if done with due diligence it, appreciably, enhances overall beauty.
It is important to note that not every eyeshadow color is meant for us – for example, some colors are just not meant for brown skin tone. We need to be mindful of our skin tone, the kind of overall look we desire, the kind of skill and time we have, and most importantly, if we feel confident enough to carry that look. For instance, I personally prefer warm-toned shades and subdued color and the days I feel daring, I do an all-out black smokey look.
With that in mind, I chose 5 shades from Inglot. Shade #74 is a neutral toned, pink color with very subtle shimmer – it has the amount of shimmer that I feel comfortable wearing on my lids. I wear glitter eyeshadows only on my brow bone that too if they are copper or gold toned.
Most Inglot eyeshadows are highly pigmented, but #74 is poorly pigmented and has to be packed on quite a bit to bring out the true color, but still, I feel it does not appear as intense as it appears in the pan. I am not that fond of pink color on my lids anyway and especially a shadow which has such poor pigmentation.
The product is decently priced and comes in a sturdy, square-shaped aluminium pan. Most importantly, it can be attached in one of the empty palettes that Inglot sells separately. These palettes offer the chance to customize palettes of your own choice. I tried to do it on my custom-made palette (I bought a magnetic sheet and tried to make a DIY palette to save myself some money), but it didn’t work out that well, so that kind of forces you to buy their empty palettes as well.
Pros of Inglot Freedom System Eyeshadow AMC Shade 74:
- The packaging is very sturdy and stays intact during shipping.
- Comes in a good-sized aluminium pan.
- It has well-blended glitter and blends well with the overall eye look.
- The color is a neutral-toned pink and will look pretty on most skin tones.
- Reasonably priced.
- Inglot ships worldwide.
- It has minimal fall out.
- The color will look pretty especially on cool-toned beauties.
- The product is very comfortable to wear.
- There are 23 shades to choose from in this range.
Cons of Inglot Freedom System Eyeshadow AMC Shade 74:
- The pigmentation is not as good as other eyeshadows by Inglot – in fact, it is rather disappointing.
- It does not appear as intense on the lid as in the pan.
- Best way to store it is in the empty palettes sold by Inglot or it is prone to breakage and is not travel friendly either.
Verdict: It is a pretty color and appears very appealing, at least in the pan, I wish it appeared the same in the pan as well. I would refrain from buying this particular shade and will go for something more pigmented.
