Hello beautiful ladies,

Today, I will be sharing an eyeshadow from my Inglot collection. I started buying Inglot 6-7 months back and since then, I always find a way to try something new from the brand. This is my 4th eyeshadow from Inglot and it is in pearl finish.  A few dats ago, when the sale season was at its peak, I saw that some of the Inglot products were on sale online.  So, I ordered some and this was one of them. These eyeshadows come in two shapes: square and round, the other 3 I have are in square pan, so I wanted this to be square too. The picture showed it to be square, but when I received the product, it was in a round pan. I was a little disappointed by the shape of the pan, but I convinced myself as the color was beautiful. The main reason of my disappointment was that, firstly I will not be able to fit it into my square palette and secondly the product quantity is less in these round pans.

Like other Inglot refills, this also came in a PVC pack with a flip open type of packaging, which is easy to open and close.

My Take on Inglot Freedom System Eyeshadow Refill – Pearl 449:

Pearl 449 is a shade of reddish pink which has loads of minute silver sparkles in it. I like the fact that it is shimmery, especially because the shimmers are not chunky and they give a beautiful sparking look to the eyes. Shimmers usually cause problems because they tend to fall out and make the whole face look sparkly, but this is not true with this, the color has a very creamy texture which helps prevent the fallout issue.

Pigmentation wise, the color is not very amazing. On first swipe, the color is not as intense as seen in the pan, but it can be built to get the desired intensity. This makes the color versatile, if you want a lighter look, use a single coat, but if you want a more dramatic look, you can re-apply it as many times as you want. Its texture makes it easy to blend. I am not very impressed with the staying power as well, as this color tends to fade in just a few hours, but it fades evenly, without creasing much. I tried this color with Maybelline Color Tattoo in Pomegranate Punk as a base, and it looked beautiful. Although Pomegranate Punk is not a color similar to this, which made this look a little different on the eyes, but these two looked beautiful together. If used with a primer/base, the staying power does increase a little, but the actual color fades just in 3-4 hours.

After not being impressed with two of the major things, I still like the color and I do not regret buying it, the main reason is the quality of the color. Also, it is a color that looks beautiful on Indian skin tones, especially in this festive season.  All I wish is that I could have got the square pan, so that I could have added it into my palette.

• Not so good staying power.
• Average pigmentation.

Would I Repurchase Inglot Freedom System Eyeshadow Refill – Pearl 449?

I will definitely buy the Inglot refills again, but I will not buy this particular shade again.
