Inglot Freedom System Lipstick in Shade #62

Inglot stands first in the list of my favourite brands and their “Freedom System Lipsticks” are best value for money in the market these days. They have a wide variety of shades priced at a very reasonable rate of INR 250 for each round pan. Inglot’s freedom system allows one to choose refill pans of lipsticks as well as eye shadows of desired shades. While a few other brands like MAC also have a Freedom System for eye shadows, lipstick refills are unique to Inglot. These lipsticks refills are priced at Rs. 250 and contain about 1.5 g of product. Most lipsticks contain about 4 g of product on an average, so in that way, the price of a full-sized Inglot lipstick would be somewhere between Rs 650-700. So, for its quantity, its not a cheap product, but it delivers excellent quality and the smaller size not only makes it more affordable, but gives one the chance to try out more shades without burning a hole in the pocket.

Today, I am reviewing a gorgeous everyday-wear rosy-brown shade from this range – #62.

INR 250 for 1.5 gms.

Freedom System

Color and Texture:

This shade is a lovely brown with a hint of pink. It might not look much appealing on the pan, but on the lips, it’s something different, its the perfect everyday shade.  It’s appropriate for office wear and will also suit most complexions, though on dusky skin tones, it might appear more of a warm nude. This particular shade brings a bit of life to the face instead of washing it out!

Rouge A Levres

This lipstick is a must-have shade. Its supremely flattering and natural, highly recommended for all. The texture is super creamy and much pigmented. They are moisturizing and settle to a semi-matte finish after application. The color doesn’t get uneven or patchy. The darker shades stay on for 8+ hours without drying and leaves a soft tint on your lips, whereas the softer shades stay on for 5 hours. One of the best textures and formula and that too at an amazingly reasonable price – definitely a must-try!

Pros of Inglot Freedom System Lipstick in Shade #62:

  • Great pigmentation.
  • Super creamy in texture.
  • Does not get patchy or uneven.
  • Does not dry the lips.
  • Darker colors stay on for 7-8 hours, softer ones stay on for 6-7 hours.
  • Does not smudge.
  • Does not bleed or feather outside the lip area.
  • Available in a wide variety of shades.
  • INR 250 is quite a reasonable price.
  • Shade #62 will suit every complexion.

Cons of Inglot Freedom System Lipstick in Shade #62:

  • They should name their products instead of giving them numbers.
  • You will need a brush for application.

Final Verdict:

Inglot lipsticks are super creamy and pigmented, feels comfortable on the lips and last a good 7-8 hours without drying the lips. The color doesn’t get patchy or smudge or bleed as it wears.  This shade is a lovely brown with a hint of pink. It might not look much appealing on the pan, but on the lips it’s something different.  The “Freedom System” allows one to try out different shades without hurting the pocket. Priced at Rs. 250 each, these are a real steal!  Highly recommended!
