When I was in the USA, I never bought anything from Inglot as I used to think that when I can access so many international brands, why should I waste money on Inglot which can be bought easily in India too. I was wrong! Abroad or in India, Inglot has some of the best eyeshadows. I have tried eyeshadows from high end to drugstore brands, I can now see how much money I wasted on Urban Decay, Lorac, It Cosmetics, etc. Still, glad that I got a chance to buy Matte Eye Shadow from Inglot now. This is an item bought from IMBB Sponsored scheme. I am reviewing the shade #382.

My Experience with Inglot Freedom System Matte Eye Shadow Square 382:

Packaging:
It came in a flat paper black box. On the front, Inglot was mentioned and at the back, manufacturing date, expiry date, manufacturing details etc., were printed. Inside the box, there was a leaflet containing the ingredients and the eye shadow was packaged in a thick plastic. The product amount looked quite good for its price. It was 2.3 grams by weight. Since it is a single eye shadow refill, you will have to purchase a palette separately to store it.

Texture:
It is very smooth, soft and silky. By soft, I mean it is not hard to pick up. Did not see any chalkiness in it. There was no fly away when I dipped the brush into the product. While applying, I did not face any fallout. It blends easily. Best application method can be using a flat eye shadow brush, as it will transfer the entire product to the eyelids. Although one swipe can deliver enough pigment, it can be build up pretty easily. Transfer to my wrist was smooth. No patch formation.

Pigmentation:
This shade 382 is a very pretty red shade with pink undertones. For my skin, it is a very bright color. I like giving eyes a little pop of color during the day. This shade proves to be perfect in this relation. It is very pigmented and one swipe can pick up lots of color. When I took a swatch on my wrist, the stain on the finger remained intact. This shade can be used on cheeks too. It will come out as a natural blush, if used with a very light hand.

Staying Power:
I tried it for the first time and the results I saw were amazing. It stayed for 8-9 hours without creasing. I did not use any primer with it. Did not expect Inglot to perform so well. I take my words back! Hands down, I will not go back to MAC for eyeshadows in India! I have used this product with fix plus too. With MAC Fix Plus, it gives an invisible sheen and the pigmentation also doubles. The staying power more or less remains the same. Only problem is that if you touch your eyes every now and then, it might start fading as the product will start transferring to your fingers.

Would I Recommend Inglot Freedom System Matte Eye Shadow Square 382?
Yes, I will gladly recommend to all the makeup lovers whether beginners or pro. Lucky to have so many Inglot stores in Delhi itself. I find them to be better than MAC eye shadows. The textures are comparable. Pigmentation is outstanding. So, why MAC is priced so heavily?
