Inglot Lipstick Shade # 139 Review

Hi Girls,

My sister recently visited me after a long time over this weekend. She had previously planned to come on my wedding anniversary but the plan was dropped somehow. She bought some gifts for me to make up for that dropped visit. One of the gifts is a beautiful lipstick from Inglot!

This is my first product from Inglot and I am really excited to write this review. The shade I am going to review today is #139. I used the lipstick as soon as I saw it and the first thing that came to my mind is to write about it! Read below to know about my experience with the Product.

Price:

This was gifted to me. Although the price is INR 850 for 4.5 Gms.

Product Description:

Classic lipstick with vitamin E and apricot kernel oil that moisturize and protect the lips. The non-sticky, long lasting formula provides easy and even application.

My Experience with Inglot Lipstick Shade # 139:

Packaging: The Lipstick comes in a Black Case with the name of the brand printed in White on the Cap. The shade and quantity is mentioned on a sticker at the bottom of the lipstick. I found the packaging very sleek and elegant. The cap closes tightly with a click making this lipstick travel-friendly.

Shade: It is shade of pink. It has a hint of raspberry in it. So I like calling it a raspberry pink. It has very fine shimmer milled in it. However when you apply it on the lips, it is not visible. It has a glossy finish on the lips. This lipstick has a mild fragrance. It’s difficult to define the fragrance, but you can say it’s a bit fruity. The smell diminishes after some time. This shade will suit fair as well as dark toned beauties and will add that pop to your face when required.

Pigmentation and Texture: The color pigmentation is good. Single swipe gives full coverage. However I still prefer 2 swipes for that darker bold pink shade. The color is easily build-able.

The texture is extremely creamy and smooth. It is easy to glide on to the lips and does not give a drying feeling. It hydrates my lips for a long time after application and makes them supple. Its creamy texture makes it easily transferable to cups and other cutlery I use. It can be embarrassing sometimes to have those pink marks on your cups.

Staying power:

Though the website claims long lasting formula, the color stays intact for 2-3 hours without any meals or drinks in between. Due to its transfer-ability it starts to fade away with every meal and it doesn’t survive heavy meals at all. It leaves a pink stain and needs a makeup remover to take it off completely. It sometimes becomes cumbersome to reapply the shade after every 2-3 hours given that it’s a bit pricey.

If it could stay on for a longer duration, then easily this lippie would have topped the list of my favorites!

Would I repurchase Inglot Lipstick Shade # 139?

Even though I didn’t buy this lipstick myself; I love the color. I would not buy the same shade but would like to try some other lipsticks from Inglot.
