Inglot Makeup Brushes Review
Inglot 15BJF (Blush Brush) :
Price : Rs 1280 (Indian Rupees)
Inglot blush brush has a wooden handle and the bristles are of goat hair. This is the best blush brush I have used so far. It’s fluffy, doesn’t shed hair, is super soft and picks up colour very well. You can do a very light dusting of colour with it or a deep wash of colour on your cheeks. I just find it a little big for the highlighting area but other than that, it’s perfect.
A good alternative for this brush is The Body Shop Blush brush or may be Colorbar’s blush brush. I used to like Vega brushes as well.

Inglot 80 HP/S : (Big Smudger Brush)
Price : Rs 990 (Indian Rupees)
This brush is an oldie in my brush collection now. I have had it for almost 6 months. It is a dense round brush and I mainly use it to soften the edges of my eyeshadow applications. The bristles are soft and dense so it gives a better control while blending. Even after so many washes , this brush looks as new as ever. The bristles are in perfect condition – soft and smooth. here has been absoluteness no shedding since day 1. Prefect Brush!
Colorbar also has a similar brush but that could be scratchy. I am not sure of it.

Inglot 30 T (Bent Eyeliner brush):
Price Rs 770 (Indian Rupees)
This brush is a new addition in the family. I think this is the best brush for eye lining application. It has nylon bristles and it is bent on the top. The little bent makes the eye lining application very easy.It picks up gel liners easily. The brush is pointed but the bristles are very soft. You can create thinnest to thickest lines with this brush. In total, I guess it must be 30- 40 bristles and I have washed it atleast 15-20 times now. Absolutely no shedding.

Overall Inglot brushes :
- are soft.
- don’t shed bristles.
- have a huge collection to select from.
- are expensive but worth every single penny.
- have a long life.
- have strong wooden handles.
- good dupes for MAC brushes
The only irritating thing is the numbers that Inglot has given to their brushes. Except 30T, I still don’t remember the name/numbers of other two brushes.
Other than that , I am 100% satisfied with the brushes. And I can proudly say that I have got what I have paid for.
Have you used Inglot brushes?

love pencil brushes. feel like holding one in my hand all day and roaming around with it.
Rima,
loll!!
This one is not a pencil brush. Pencil brushes are a little pointed, this one is all round and round. 🙂
lolzz.. Rima u r right… i actually bent it …. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
he he . 😛 Where did you buy it from?
really?!?! now i’ll have to see whether the pencil brush i’m talking about is a pencil brush or a smudger brush 😛 it’s part of my brush kit. remember the review i did for anindiansmakeupmusings? that kit. i’ll bring all the brushes and show them to you next time.

oh!!
The pencil brush has to go under the lower lashline or smudge the liner so it cannot have a rounded tip. That would be too much area for the eyeshadow to smudge.
I remem that kit, will see when we meet next. 🙂
ohk so i have a smudger brush
wow have to check out inglot next….
u have any idea where to check these in mumbai ???
still only hooked to MAC brushes but do want to buy one powder brush

Rashmi,

The bent brush is very interesting!!!
It has made my life easier.. 😛
Bent brush looks quite useful and interesting. Rati…pls do a detailed review of it some time.
Poornima,
this is the only review. There is nothing much to write about it. If there is any specific query in your mind, you may ask me. 🙂
Bent-up brush, I think it would be a wonderful tool for me, I do not have a steady hand at all, and my liner one eye never matches with the other one. 😀
This would be a fab inclusion in your brish collection. I have curles lashes on the outer corner of my eye. I used to mess u my liners especially there. This one just twists and turns on its own and i get a nice precise lining. 🙂
How do you wash your brushes, particularly the one you use for a gel eyeliner?
Hi Anita,
I did a little photo tutorial on how do I clean my brushes, you may read it here: https://makeupandbeauty.com/how-to-clean-makeup-brushes-with-photos/
For gel liner brushes, I take some baby oil on a tissue paper, then I swipe my brush on the tisuue a few times that removes most of the liner on the tissues itself. Them I follow up with w regular shampoo washing. 🙂
hi jomol…..i totally agree with u on that….evn i cant apply eyeliners on both eyelids in equal proportion…..i do hope this bent eyeliner brush will solve that problem…..
rati plz tell me hw do we hold this bent brush …vertically parallell to nose or at some angle…..?
Shilpa, there is no particular rule for applying eyeliner with a bent brush. You just have to get used to it.
If I may explain this…
Our face has curves and contours especially on the eye (socket) and cheeks ( hollows) so moving a flat stright brush would be a more problematic than moving a brush that has a little curve in it. A curvy brush would just fit in your contours and hence you will feel it easier to use.
When i started using it, I felt a little weird initially but then I realized that it just fits in well and moves easily on the lid and curves of the eye.
A little word of precaution would be that you buy a good quality bent brush becasue if the angles are not right, you would face the problem again. 🙂
Is the blush brush a big brush? Like in comparison to the 109 or the 116 by MAC? x
Hi Christina,
A lush brush is a little smaller than your powder brush.
MAC 109 is a foundation brush. You may apply liquid/cream foundations with it to get the airbrushed feel.
MAC 116 is a blush brush. You may do a precise blush application with that.
Mac 150 is a powder brush. It’s a big brush and you may use it to apply powder all over the face.
