Inglot Nail Enamel Shade 860 Review

Inglot Nail Enamel Shade 860

Hello Beautiful Ladies,

Today I will be writing about another nail polish that I bought from Inglot and it is in number 860. I went to the Inglot store in search of some lipsticks but they had nail polishes displayed near the entry of the store and after seeing so many colors together I wasn’t able to move forward without picking up some of these. But when I started selecting I got confused and ended up getting just 2 of these.

Product quantity: 15 ml

Price: INR 600

Packaging: Its square shaped bottle and easy to open cap makes this product really appealing to me. I also like the fact that they come packed in a black box with a circular cut-out in the front to make the color visible even if inside the box. I have 3 of these nail polishes and I have kept them secured in the boxes in which they came, as the boxes make them look even more pretty.

My take on the Inglot Nail Enamel Shade 860

860 is a shade of red which is not exactly bright red. Initially it seemed me to be a carrot colored nail polish but when I tried it on my nails it was little darker than that. So basically the color is something between a carrot color and a bright red. I love bright colors and so I personally loved it (and I think that it looks good on me too). I am Impressed with the pigmentation of the color, 1 swipe is enough to get a good and almost opaque color but I like to use 2 coats so that it seems even brighter.

The brush that comes with this color is not so broad which some people may not like. I am okay with this fact till the time the consistency of the product is good. Consistency wise this color is perfect. The polish is appropriately thick (neither very thick nor too flowy) which makes application really easy and convenient. Inglot does have some colors with different consistency, in fact the one I brought with this color (006) is way too flowy as compared to this one, but I was happy with that too as it was a lighter color and was on a sheer side too.

I have tried using single coat as well as double coats and in both the situation the staying power is good. When a single coat of the color is applied, the colors stays well for 2 days after which it starts fading from the top edges as well as from some sections of the nails. Single coat do not stand for day 4 and it becomes so ugly (due to fading from various sections) that it has to be removed. But of course the staying power of the color is much better when 2 coats are applied, at least the color does not fade from the center sections of the nails.

Overall all I loved the color, its consistency and the way it looked on me, the only thing I didn’t like was the hiked price.
