Inglot Pearl Eyeshadow 419 Review

Inglot Pearl Eyeshadow 419 Review

Hi Everyone,

After going through the dilemma of ‘to order or not to order’ from one of the online sites, I finally gave up the idea and went to the Inglot store last weekend to pick up some eyeshadow refills. I am in love with Inglot as a brand, and love their eyeshadow refills for the texture, color selection, and price.

Inglot Pearl Eyeshadow 419 Review

I picked up shades 402 that Parita had reviewed earlier and the shade that I am going to review today is a pearl eyeshadow in the shade 419. Although, I have mostly posted articles on vibrant and popping eye looks, I am very fond of neutral shades. So, let’s see how this one fared.

Price:

Rs. 300

Texture:

Pearl eyeshadows from Inglot are uber smooth, velvety, with a lovely sheen to them. They are extremely easy to apply evenly and are buttery smooth that helps in blending easily.

Shade:

The shade that I picked up was pearl 419, which is a dirty khaki green sort of color. It’s a lovely neutral shade for an overall lid color and looks fabulous in creating those necessary creases to add a little bit of mystery and mystique to your eyes.

Personally, I don’t use it with the usual black outer-V that most people do. I love to pair it with a darker green shadow in the crease and outer-V with a little bit of black.

I think this color would look very good on skin tones below NC 40-42, otherwise it may not show up adequately. Also, definitely use an eyeshadow base beneath this shade to bring out the color and sheen better on your lids.

Staying Power:

With a primer, this stays on my lids easily for 6-7 hours. It doesn’t budge/crease at all and does not fade on my oily lids.

Here’s my EOTD with this eyeshadow:

Pearl Finish 5

Pearl Finish 6

I have used:

UDDP primer potion.
• Inglot 419 pearl eyeshadow as an overall lid color – just patted it all over the lids.
Urban Decay 24/7 eye pencil in a green shade in the outer V and lashline and smudged it.
NYX single eyshadow in Black – just a tiny bit in the outer V and blended it.
MAC Smolder in my waterline.
Volume Million Lashes Mascara.
• MAC 217 and 219 brushes.

IMBB Rating:

5/5

Overall Verdict:

I absolutely can’t think of any con for this one and I am totally in love with it. Bought it last week, and I have already used it 3-4 times. It’s a superbly pigmented, versatile neutral shade that you can simply put all over your lids for a neutral day look, or pair with black or dark brown or even bright green for creating a smashing smoky eye. Go pick it up!

I am so encouraged by your comments on my EOTDs that every time I wear some eye makeup, I feel like sharing it with you guys. So a BIIIIIIIIIIIG thank you to everyone!

Looking forward to your comments on this EOTD 🙂

    1. Thanks so much for the compliment Ila! Its not that flawless so a lil bit of makeup does the trick 🙂
They do sell refills without the palettes, just tell them you already have a palette at home that you are trying to fill 🙂

    1. Thanks Manisha! I’ll give you the same advice that most people here would…start with single neutral shades first and apply it as an overall lid color, then just put kajal on your upper n lower lashline and smudge it, its the simplest trick in the book and looks nice.

  1. superb Eotd 🙂 love the way you have used this color with green pencil n black eyeshadow.it looks stunning 🙂 i love inglot eyeshadows. they are absolutely worth it.
