Hello Beautiful Ladies,

Today I will be reviewing about a lipstick which has been my favorite since I bought it and it is a slim gel lipstick from Inglot and the color I have is shade no 42. I have used many different products from Inglot and loved them all and this one is no different from others. I love it more than any of the lipsticks I have from Inglot.

Packaging:

These slim gel lipsticks come in a sleek cylindrical shaped all black packaging with the brand name written in white. The packaging is sturdy and the black color makes it look elegant. The only problem I have with the packaging is that as it is all black, the color cannot be recognized until the packaging is opened (as the colors do not have names, another negative point of these). The black cylindrical tube is further packed into a black box which contains all the details about the product.

Slim Gel Lipstick gives a lighter and hydrating coverage. Paraben Free formula. Not tested on animals.

My take on Inglot Slim Gel Lipstick Shade No. 42 :

Color & Pigmentation:

Lately, I have been in love with sheer looking lip colors as they are comfortable to wear to office and this is the main reason why this particular one has become my go-to color. Shade No 42 is a peachy orange shade which gives a sheer effect in a single coat, but to get better color on the lips, the lipstick can easily be layered without looking ugly. This color is perfect to be used during the day and can be applied with majority of the thing that can be worn to office. Unlike some other bright oranges, this is actually a very natural looking color. The pigmentation of the color is good but can easily be built to the desired color by layering the color.

Texture & Staying power:

The lipstick is smooth to apply but is not buttery smooth and this is due to its gel formulation. The lipstick feels very soft and light on the lips and there is completely no need to have a lip balm underneath the color, as this itself is sufficiently moisturizing. The staying power of the color is not too impressive, but it can still stay for a decent 2-3 hours (without a major meal), the color doesn’t have a staining effect and thus no color can be seen once the lipstick is removed.

Overall, the lipstick is a good quality product which serves as a moisturizer and a natural lip color which can easily be worn to work. It’s neither too bright nor too dull and will look good on majority of the skin tones.

Not this particular color, as this range does have many other colors to try from. Thus, I may not buy this color again, but yes I would love to try some other colors from this range.

Yes! If you have a tough time deciding what to wear to office, this is a must-have for you.
