My Experience with Innisfree Capsule Recipe Pack Potato:

The pack comes in a small, brown-coloured container with a potato pattern on the cap. It is made of thin plastic. Unlike its older packaging, it has an extra seal and a reusable cap, which makes it convenient for travelling. For short trips, requiring 3-4 uses of a mask, this product is perfect. It is lightweight and spill proof. The back has a label with the ingredients, price and directions for usage listed. However, it does not mention the purpose or skin type for this mask. I picked this mask because I know potato is good for removing sun tan.

Coming to the texture of this mask, it looks and even smells like cold potato mash. It is a bit thick and grainy in texture. It does not spread too well, so each session requires a little more than what is usually needed. Another fact that I noticed was that the potato extract was mentioned very low in the ingredients list and fragrance higher still. This means that the amount of ingredients added for fragrance is more than the main potato itself.

Application of this mask is very simple. I use it after cleansing and toning my face. I did not refrigerate the mask as I thought it wasn’t required. It applies thickly on the skin. I leave it on for about 15 minutes, and then rinse my face thoroughly. It leaves my skin moisturized and soft, but it does not brighten or reduce the tan on my face. Overall, it is a mediocre product.
