Innisfree Daily UV Protection Cream No Sebum SPF 35 PA +++ Review

Product Purchased by IMBB

Hello beauties!

My skin requires a perfect non-oily sunscreen during this hot weather. Last month, I bought this sunscreen called ‘Innisfree Daily UV Protection Cream No Sebum’. I was tempted by its ‘no sebum’ claim. Today, I am going to share my opinions about it. Let’s get into the details.

My Experience with Innisfree Daily UV Protection Cream No Sebum SPF 35 PA +++:

Innisfree Daily UV Protection Cream comes in a very classy white paper box with detailed information. The actual tube is flat and white with a twist lock cap. I really like its simple yet classy packaging and it’s quite easy to carry around too. Also, the small dispenser provides the right amount of product at once.

The white cream has a nice calamine-like consistency that glides well on the skin. It has a nice lightweight texture, but it dries out quickly, so I have to blend the cream quickly. I don’t like the fact that it leaves a white cast on the face and that it takes time to give that perfect natural finish.

With proper blending and time, it sets well. Still, if you are in an AC room it’ll make your skin a bit white; if you have dry skin, it will look a bit white on the face. The cast is quite noticeable, so I always take a small amount of the product and blend it properly to make it look natural. Then, I set it with a compact powder.

Otherwise, it provides a perfect powder-matte texture, which is a blessing for oily skin. I have super oily T-zone and the finish of this cream look perfect on my skin. It keeps skin non-oily and non-greasy for long. Also, it helps control sebum to a good extent. After 3-4 hours, my T-zone looks a bit oily but I blot it with a wipe. Hence, it helps to keep my face fresher for longer.

Innisfree Daily UV Protection Cream No Sebum Dispenser

It makes my oily skin soft and smooth but it won’t be enough for dry skin. It might make dry skin feel drier with time. So, it’s best suited for oily to normal skin types. Otherwise, it doesn’t crease or settle into the fine lines. It does not cause sweating but it cannot control it either. Personally, I don’t think any cream can do that.

Being a sun protection cream, it has SPF 35 PA +++, which is good to protect skin from harmful sun rays. Though it’s not the best option for the Indian summers, higher sun protection means more chemicals on the face. Since I do not spend a lot of time under direct sunlight every day, this cream suits me well. But if you do or you are going for a beach vacation, you’ll require higher SPF.

Otherwise, it works pretty well and also helps to protect skin from tanning and other damages caused due to sun rays. I have noticed that my sensitive skin looks quite fresh and clear. I always face some redness or rashes during summer but my skin is looking good this year.

It also never broke me out and never irritated my sensitive skin. It has a strong smell, which might be the aroma of some flower and is quite similar to the fragrance of calamine lotion. It’s a familiar fragrance but I can’t recognize it. I do not like such scents and it is a bit strong for me.

Innisfree Daily UV Protection Cream No Sebum Swatch

Now coming to its longevity, they haven’t mentioned any time limit on the tube and I also don’t like to reapply my sunscreen. So, as a cream, it stays on for long. It keeps my skin oil-free for a good time. This softness lasts well on my oily skin. But if I stay in an AC room, then my skin feels dry and sometimes a bit stretchy too. Otherwise, it works pretty well. I love everything about this product except the white cast that it leaves on my skin.

Will I Repurchase/Recommend Innisfree Daily UV Protection Cream No Sebum SPF 35 PA +++?
I would love to recommend it for oily skinned people but not for dry skin. Don’t buy it if you can’t manage the white cast as it might look overpowering.
