Innisfree Grapefruit Hand Cream Review

Even though we spend a lot of time to take care of our face, we often tend to neglect our hands. These are the ones exposed to maximum of harsh chemicals, right from washing our hands, washing soaps, sanitizers etc. These products do dry out the hands, and eventually they become very dry. I suddenly realized that my hands are dry. It must have been dry for quite some time now 🙁 I think I should be happy that I have started to include hand creams in my regimen too. This review is about Innisfree Grapefruit Hand Cream.

My Experience with Innisfree Grapefruit Hand Cream:

I have not used a hand cream as a routine in my life. In the past, I have used it a few times if I felt my hands needed an emergency treatment. Other than that, my experience with them is nil. So with no expectations, I bought this hand cream from Innisfree.

Innisfree Grapefruit Hand Cream outer packaging

It comes in a small tube packaging with a plastic cap. Despite being purse friendly, this is not sturdy, and I don’t want a purse full of hand cream if the tube gets pressed accidentally, so it’s a better idea to leave it back on the table.

The cream itself is white, soft in consistency. In appearance, it resembles Vaseline. The smell of the cream is a soapy tangerine odour. It is very mild, and doesn’t last long, which I prefer. The product is easy to apply, and it doesn’t feel greasy or oily.

Once applied, the product gets absorbed soon, and the product leaves a smooth finish on the skin. On the dry parts of my hands, it gets applied smoothly, but it is not enough. The dry areas were not soft to touch; rather they were matte to touch.

I would have preferred the product to hydrate and moisturize dry areas too, but sadly, it could not. The effect of the product lasted really longer than I expected. It actually lasted till I washed my hands with water after many hours.

If you are going to have a sweaty day or if it is a very hot, refraining to use this product would be better.

Pros of Innisfree Grapefruit Hand Cream:

  • Easy and hygienic to to use.
  • Moisturizes my hands without making them slippery.
  • Gets absorbed fast into the skin.
  • Not heavily perfumed.

Cons of Innisfree Grapefruit Hand Cream:

  • Moisturization is not enough for very dry hands like mine.
  • The packaging though it is very tiny to fit into the pouch or bag, it might burst open if pressed too hard. It would have been better with a sturdy packaging.

IMBB Rating:
Would I Repurchase/Recommend Innisfree Grapefruit Hand Cream?
One can definitely give a try if you don’t want a heavy moisturizer for your hands. If you have very dry hands, wait a bit; I might find one in the future, and review it!
