Hey pretty girls,
Since Innisfree has some amazing things to offer, and I found an Innisfree shop in Mumbai, I went ahead and purchased some products. Among them, were the capsule recipe packs, and today’s review will be about Innisfree Green Tea Capsule Recipe Pack.
A sleeping pack containing organic Jeju fresh green tea to keep your skin moisturized and clear while sleeping!Organic Jeju fresh green tea and green tea seeds for more refreshed and moisturized skin. Dual Moisture-Rising Technology derived from organic green tea and green tea seed oil. The green tea extracted from fresh green tea leaves harvested on Jeju Island is rich in amino acids and minerals that help keep the skin moisturized. The seed oil retains moisture inside the skin to keep your skin hydrated for a longer period. Natural green tea antioxidants: The nutrition capsules, filled with natural ingredients, provide antioxidants to your skin and quickly brighten skin tone.
My Experience with Innisfree Green Tea Capsule Recipe Pack:
Packaging: This green tea capsule pack comes in a plastic brown tub along with a beautiful green label on the top lid which indicates green tea as the main ingredient in the pack. The other details are mentioned on the back of the tub. The packaging is quite good, as the plastic is sturdy and doesn’t crumble easily. Also it has two lids, so you can hygienically store it after one use. I also find it very travel friendly.
As I have read in most reviews of the other sleeping packs, this one is no different. It has a white gel-like texture. The gel is very cooling and refreshing. On applying, you feel a very soothing sensation on your skin. I have eternally troublesome skin, so anything that calms and cools my skin (even in winters) is welcome!
The scent is very uplifting, it refreshes and pleases my senses. The fragrance seems quite natural and will not bother sensitive noses. I need a small quantity for my entire face and don’t find it very sticky. It is easy to spread. The slightly tacky feeling stays for some time and then becomes negligible as it slowly absorbs.
I have used it in three ways:
As a sleeping pack: I applied it at night and woke up to radiant and hydrated skin in the morning. After washing off, my dullness and stress signs vanished.
Before makeup: Since it soothes skin and gives a fresh look, I applied it before makeup and washed it off after 20 minutes. My skin was smoother and better, so makeup looked much fresher even without a primer.
As a cooling mask after sun exposure: My sensitive skin is easily affected by sun rays even after using SPF 50 sunblock. So, I always come back and apply something to cool my skin, like tomato juice or aloe vera gel. Using this mask, I didn’t see any inflammation or redness persisting, so I am very happy.
Overall, though I find the quantity less, I feel it’s a great soothing and hydrating mask, especially for dull and tired skin. The effects last a couple of days. If you use it judiciously like me, it can easily be used for 3-4 times. Just make sure you securely close the lid, so that the antioxidant properties stay intact.
