Hi guys,

I am a big fan of Innisfree products and I feel their serums are one of the best out there. Today, I will be reviewing the Pomegranate Revitalizing Essence. Pomegranate Revitalizing line was launched in India a couple of months back, and I was able to try various samples before choosing this product. To know more about this essence and how it fared for me, read on further.

My Experience with Innisfree Jeju Pomegranate Revitalizing Essence:

This essence is housed in a beautiful off-white and deep red cardboard box. The side has a picture of pomegranates while the front has a pomegranate pattern at the top. The product name is embossed in gold. Innisfree definitely knows how to package its products in a chic but minimalistic manner. The box has information printed on it using environmental-friendly soy ink, and it also has a brown English label containing the ingredients, price etc.

The essence comes in a dropper bottle made of either acrylic or glass. It is a beautiful translucent, deep cherry coloured bottle that allows one to see the amount of product left. The text is embossed in gold over it, which lends it a luxurious feel. The rubber is black in colour, while the top of the dropper is metallic red. The mouth of the bottle may seem wide, but the inside is narrow to preserve the essence and to prevent spillage. The front has a pretty pomegranate design on the side, highlighting it as the main ingredient. The dropper is a convenient addition as it allows control over the amount of essence to be dispensed. Overall, the packaging is chic and pretty. Although, I would not call it extremely travel friendly. The glass bottle feels heavy and luxurious, but at the same time, I feel it is a bit delicate.

The actual essence is translucent, milky, off-white in colour with a slightly pearlescent quality. It is runny and thin, but a bit sticky too. It does contain added fragrance, although it is not as strong as the green tea seed serum.

The first time I tried it, it seemed very similar to the “Green Tea Seed Serum.” The difference is that this serum is definitely stickier and thicker. This is slightly expensive than the green tea serum, considering that the latter has 80 mL of product. The pomegranate essence has more ingredients in its list as it does more than hydration and moisturisation. It boosts the skin’s resilience and erases signs of fatigue.

Innisfree Jeju Pomegranate Revitalizing Essence dropper

Coming to the application of this product, I use four to five drops of this essence for the whole face. After my cleansing and toning routine, I prefer to drop the essence on the back of my hand. Thereafter, I spread it on my face using fingers and gently pat it in until it is completely absorbed. It does feel a bit sticky, but after a few minutes, it goes away. It leaves a slight sheen on the face that does not bother me. Over time, it has made my skin supple and vibrant. If you have dull skin, this might be the product for you. This product will however not brighten the skin, treat acne or work on dark spots. It is only meant for hydration, vibrancy and moisture, which is exactly what I wanted in an essence. Overall, I am satisfied Innisfree Pomegranate Revitralizing Essence.

Would I Repurchase Innisfree Jeju Pomegranate Revitalizing Essence?
I purchased this essence especially for winter months and feel this will last me a couple of months. For summer, it might not suit combination to oily skin. I would recommend you to get samples for this essence to see how it works for your skin or try it at the store before purchasing.
