Hand creams almost always do not end up being so important. But, the cold weather always remind you that your hands have skin too and they also need moisturization. I use heavy hand creams or DIYs at night, but for the day time, I prefer something subtle and less greasy. Read on to know more about this hand cream that I picked a few months back.
Keep your delicate hands moisturized with the Innisfree Peony Hand Cream. It is an ultra-moisturizing hand cream with deep moisturizing properties and a sweet scent of Jeju peaches. Enjoy the tender, sweet and rich scent of Jeju peaches and feminine Pink Peony. This hand cream immediately melts into your skin for long-lasting moisturization. My Experience with Innisfree Peony Hand Cream:
I have previously used their grapefruit hand cream, and I picked up this Peony one right after that. The hand cream comes in a small tube with attached plastic cap for easy one hand usage. It is easy to carry and the packaging is simple and elegant. It fits easily in the smallest of my bags and doesn’t leak because of the strong cap. Though not much product is needed, you have to squeeze the tube a little harder for some decent amount of product to come through.
The cream is white in colour and solid in consistency. It is easy to apply and it gets absorbed faster too. If I use this cream when my hands are very dry, this cream alone is not sufficient to fully hydrate the skin in my hands and restore the moisture. During other times, it gives that instant boost of moisture.
Though it moisturizes well, it doesn’t leave a greasy feeling or a sticky feeling. It doesn’t make using my hands uneasy. But, it does leave a silicone like effect on my hands, which I am okay with. But, if I apply too much, my hands lose some friction and objects slip easily from them.
The moisturized effect lasts for approximately 4 to 5 hours, if you do not wash your hands. While washing the hands on which the cream was applied, I could feel it washing away. That explains the slip it gives. Some of it never gets absorbed and sits on top of the skin to give the soft and smooth feeling immediately.
Also, this hand cream is heavily perfumed. The smell is floral and is long-lasting as they claim it to be. Though I use it on my hands, I can still smell the perfume even if I keep my hands very far. I have a sensitive nose, and so I absolutely hate how far and wide the fragrance can spread. If you are okay with fragrance in your products, you might enjoy it.
The product comes in a 30 ml tube and if used every day, it will roughly last a month before you have to cut open it(If at all you do that!). I use it only when I remember to use it and so, it will last me for a long time.
Overall, I liked the moisturizing effect it gives, but hated that it had very strong smell.
