I picked up 4 of the Innisfree capsule recipes. Today I’ll be sharing the review of the Pomegranate variant. Let’s get started!

My Experience with Innisfree Pomegranate Sleeping Pack Capsule Recipe Pack:
This capsule recipe comes in a jar form. The pink coloured seal and the fruit logo tells you what the pack is made of. The back has a sticker that tells you what the pack is supposed to do, ingredients and so on. The capsule is really small and once you open the seal, it doesn’t fully get closed, so you do have to find a way to keep the contents preserved. But the packaging is kind of cute and if unopened, then safe to travel with.
The quantity provided is way too less. It’s hardly a tablespoon of the product. So I find that to be a bit disappointing. Anyway, the pack looks like a lotion and feels like one too. It has a pale pink colour and smells very nice. It has a slight fragrance of juicy pomegranate seeds. The fragrance is unique and mild. It stays on for quite a long time.
The consistency is thin and resembles that of a summer lotion as mentioned earlier. It glides on evenly on the skin. It doesn’t feel dry like a mud mask on the skin. Infact it stays put for 1 hour after which is slowly starts drying. It doesn’t dry out completely like a mud mask and then your skin feels stretchy. No, that doesn’t happen with this one. It is slightly sticky when you touch it even after a couple of hours.
The pack is supposed to be kept on for the entire night. So, I washed my face, pat it with a towel and applied this mask on my face and massaged it for a minute in circular motions. To my surprise, I only required one fourth of the product to cover my face and half neck. I did apply a nice layer on my face and still the little amount did go a long way.
It was slightly discomforting as I did not get to wear my ear phones at night or sleep with my face touching the pillow. But it’s all just minor little cons. The next day, the pack was just 5% sticky. As instructed, I washed my face with warm water. I found that it left a very slight glow on my face. I pat dry my face and then I touched my face after 10 minutes only to find out that my face did not feel soft at all. In fact it had a very different feel, slightly rubbery feel to it. Unsure, I washed my face with a face wash and still the same.
I also noticed some hours later that my face looked oilier and my pores were slightly more visible than usual. Also, the glow had vanished and it was as if I had applied nothing. If anything, my skin looked bad after using this pack. It did look slightly firmer, but overall, it looked very unhealthy. Suddenly, all the pores and little bumps on my face became more prominent than usual. Summing up the pros and cons,
