Innisfree Strawberry Yogurt Capsule Recipe Pack Review

I wasn’t aware of these “capsule packs” a few days ago but now I really appreciate the concept. These are effective face packs that come in compact packaging. These packs are easy to apply and give instant results. I feel if you do not like the concept of sheet masks, you can go for these capsule packs. So, I picked up this “Innisfree Strawberry Yogurt Capsule Recipe Pack” when I went to their newly opened store and here is my review.

How to Use:
1. After washing your face, spread and massage the mask evenly on your face. Rinse off the mask with lukewarm water after 10-15 minutes. Massaging will relieve your facial muscles for more comfortable looks. Choose the capsule that best suits your skin.
2. Insert the lid into the slit of the container and close it to keep it fresh for your next use.

My Experience with Innisfree Strawberry Yogurt Capsule Recipe Pack:

I am sure these ‘capsule packs’ will grab your attention when you enter an Innisfree store. I initially assumed that these were lip balms or something but these are face packs. The packaging is so compact yet carries every detail about the product. The deal with these capsule packs is that these come in small plastic containers with a flap. You are supposed to get 2-3 uses out of these packs, which is fine.

But, the problem is this flap. It has to be inserted into the hole. Now, I feel, this might reduce the efficacy of the ingredients. Not to forget, this kind of packaging can be a hassle as you need to store the product very well and very carefully. I feel this is the kind of packaging you would not mind if you are traveling for say 12-14 days and do not want to carry around those conventional tubes and tubs.

The pack smells just like a strawberry and yogurt smoothie, which is a delight to my nose. Some might not like it but I do. 🙂 But, it does not bother at all. The consistency is runny and spreads easily on the skin. It feels very lightweight on the skin and does not feel like a liability when it is on your skin, like the usual packs. You need to keep this white pack on the skin and wait for it to dry. It does not look like the usual packs, looks just like the layer of a thick cream on the skin. It is also quite easy to rinse; does not take ages or lots of water to get rinsed.

Coming to the results, I am impressed! This pack instantly brightens up the skin while moisturizing and softening it. Skin feels so soft and smooth within minutes. I applied it twice when my skin became dry, and it restored the moisture and soothed it. In short, it does everything it claims and I loved how it performed.

Also, I love how it didn’t make my skin oily or greasy and how it didn’t dry out my skin further. It is a paraben free product and I love that most of the ingredients used are natural. Other than packaging, I do not have any major issues with the product. It cannot transform your skin but then it does not claim to. I feel availability might be an issue for many people and the products are sold at a higher price online in India. Also, the brightening effect does not last long on the skin, though the skin remains well moisturized and soft for many days. Overall, I liked using it. 😀
