Last month, I decided to stop my wild makeup hauls, finish the products that are there in the stash and concentrate on good skin care products instead. So, under the IMBB sponsored scheme, I picked up this mousse face- pack. The Innisfree Super Volcanic Clay Mask has already been reviewed on IMBB. The mousse variation promises to go deeper into the skin and act better. As I have a super problematic skin, I decided to give it a try. However, as I have not used the other variety, I cannot compare the products. Read the review to know more about this mousse face pack.

How To Use:

Pump an appropriate amount and smooth over towel-dried skin after cleansing, avoiding the eye and lip areas.
When the mask dries after 15-20 minutes, wash off with lukewarm water (use 1-2 times a week).
Press the pump with care at first so you do not dispense the mousse too much.
Always close the button cap and lid after use.

My Experience with Innisfree Super Volcanic Clay Mousse Mask:

Packaging: The product comes in a black pump bottle packed in a paper carton. The details of the product are mentioned on the carton. As it is an opaque bottle, it is a little difficult to know the amount left in the bottle. The pump dispenser works perfectly and half a press dispenses enough product for one-time use. So, you should be a little careful, otherwise you may end up wasting the product. The mouth of the nozzle has a button cap and then there is a lid also that shuts tightly. Overall, the packaging is very hygienic and travel friendly.

Color/Fragrance/Texture: The product is super lightweight. I have seen a product like this in my life. The texture is actually like that of a mousse foundation that spreads smoothly on the face. It dries pretty fast. The colour is like ash brown mud which becomes a little lighter as it dries. The fragrance is probably the best thing about it after the effectiveness. I have never used any product which smells so natural and refreshing. The fragrance will remind you of fresh, rain-soaked mud and grasses. Along with purifying your skin, it purifies your sol after a long, tiring day.

Results: This is the best face pack that I have used till date. It is perfect if you have oily, dull, tired skin with black and whiteheads. If you use cold water to clean the dried product, it is really very difficult to remove and leaves a white cast on face. So, make sure to use some lukewarm water while removing the mask. Once you wash your face, you will see rejuvenated clean skin. Excess facial oil is taken care of completely, dead cells are removed to some extent, and facial pores look dirt-free and smaller. You will be amazed to see that whiteheads and blackheads are out naturally – just wipe with a towel and that gets rid of them completely. It also removes harsh tan and dullness of skin.

Overall, skin looks refreshed and lively. If you use this twice a week, your skin will be free of most of problems, but do not expect it to remove acne scars and blemishes. This does not make the skin very dry, but as this mud pack extracts all oil, it is a good idea to use some moisturizer after using it.
