My Experience with Innisfree White Tone Up Sleeping Pack:

The product comes in an off white tube, with a white berry pattern on it. The tube is not completely opaque, therefore I can see how much product is left if I view it in light. It has a sturdy white cap on top which helps to dispense the right amount of product. The pack is a transparent gel with small white beads dispersed in it. The consistency is a bit runny, it is not too thick. It has a slight fragrance of lychee fruit.

I wanted to try a sleeping pack from Innisfree, but because it was summer time, I wanted a light sleeping pack. When I saw that this Sleeping Pack was in the form of a gel, I thought it would be perfect for my combination skin. Moreover, this is the only Sleeping Pack available from Innisfree that is in a tube packaging, all others come in a tub.

I take a pea-sized amount of the product when using it along with other skincare products such as serum and moisturizer. I take a little bit more of the product if I am using it as a substitute for my moisturizer. I simply massage this onto my face in circular motions. The beads dissolve into the skin. This mask leaves a sticky residue, which upon patting makes it less shiny. I usually wait for a while before going to sleep, so that the pack sinks in and doesn’t transfer to my pillow. In the morning, my skin is mattified, plump and looks well rested. While washing my face, I can feel the product coming off, even though it is not visible on the face. As for the brightening effects, on some days it works, on some days it doesn’t. When I tried using it every day, the brightening effects weren’t consistent. When I use it occasionally, my skin does look a bit brighter. Another thing that I noticed was that the fine lines on my forehead would be smoothened out in the morning. All these effects are temporary; I believe this pack should to be used before special events or on days when you want to look less tired and rejuvenated.

In the summer months, using the pack on its own after toner worked really well for me as it is very moisturizing. In winters, I have to use it with a light moisturizer otherwise dry patches around my face will form. Because this contains a significant amount of alcohol in the gel (the fragrance is slightly alcoholic), I would not recommend this product for acne prone skin as it would sting. All in all, I really love this product.
