My Experience with Iraya Vanilla and Whole Milk Shower Milk:

The other day, I was online and was just browsing and decided to look at some new bath products with a nice vanilla/toffee/honey fragrance. I came across this brand, Iraya.  Also, it looked pretty cool and wasn’t all that expensive, so I decided to try it out.

Iraya Shower Milk

So, it comes in a handy little plastic bottle, not ideal for travelling though with an easy to use pump on top. This however is not ideal for travelling as there is no cap on top of the pump.  It has a very milky consistency. I used this with my Body Shop loofah and it lathered for a minute and then just stopped! So, I ended up using a lot of product because I thought this must lather. In the end, I figured out that it doesn’t really lather that much. It did make my bathroom smell yummy though. It has a nice milky vanilla fragrance, something you would expect from a vanilla milkshake. Thankfully, it’s a nice and subtle fragrance and not a heavy one. It lasted about an hour on me. After my bath, I didn’t need to use a moisturizer/lotion (thank God, too hot and humid here already. :X ) Didn’t dry me out at all.

Shower Milk

Pros of Iraya Vanilla and Whole Milk Shower Milk:

  • Nice, subtle vanilla smell.
  • Made my skin soft.
  • Doesn’t dry my skin out.
  • No need to follow up with a moisturizer.
  • Again, the smell is really nice.

Cons of Iraya Vanilla and Whole Milk Shower Milk:

  • Too many chemicals for its “natural” claim.
  • Lathers for a few minutes and then just stops! :/
  • The packaging isn’t travel friendly.
  • Smell doesn’t last too long.

IMBB Rating:

3.75/5

Its a nice body wash with universally likeable smell and really good for people with dry skin.
