Today I am reviewing a perfume that I had picked up on a whim during one of my online shopping sprees. I was busy surfing the internet for some dresses by Isaac Mizrahi when I stumbled upon this perfume – “Fabulous”, by him. Ok, I agree buying perfume online without having tested it ever is not the best decision. But, I was quite smitten with the cute feminine bottle and decided to go ahead. Read on to find out if the purchase was worth it or not!

My Experience with Isaac Mizrahi Fabulous Eau De Parfum:
Packaging:
The perfume comes in an artistically designed glass bottle with the neck and the nozzle tilted to one side. It has a very cute looking golden colored cap with pink polka dots. The outer packaging is a hot pink cardboard box. The bottle looks very attractive when it sits on the vanity. It spells stylish and fun at the same time. But, it is not exactly travel friendly. Also, the circular shape is not all that handy. The bottle is transparent which helps to know how much of the perfume is remaining.
Fragrance/Performance:
As expected, this perfume is a mix of floral and fruity. I can smell jasmine, rose, vanilla and citrus. And, all these scents together create a lovely, fresh fragrance which is very feminine. It is a soft, delicate fragrance which is not at all overpowering. As the day passes, I can also smell some woody scents which are pretty pleasant, I must say.
Overall, a light feminine fragrance which is most apt for office/day wear. However, those of you who like their perfumes to be strong smelling might not enjoy it. The staying power of the perfume is a bit of disappointment. It smells the strongest in the first 3 hours or so. Post this, I could only smell the woody scents. It completely disappears at the end of 4 hours or so. Surely, not something you can trust on a long day out. To summarize, it is a nice and fresh perfume, but I would not really like to call it Fabulous.
Pros of Isaac Mizrahi Fabulous Eau De Parfum:
• Fresh floral and fruity fragrance.
• Cute packaging.
• Does not stain clothes.
• Does not irritate the skin.
Cons of Isaac Mizrahi Fabulous Eau De Parfum:
• Packaging is not very travel friendly.
• Staying power is quite average for a perfume.
• Those who prefer strong fragrances will not like it.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Isaac Mizrahi Fabulous Eau De Parfum?
Perfumes are a personal choice and hence, I would recommend you to try it out before buying. I would not repurchase it as it did not stay for long on me. Also, I like to try new perfumes.
