Hello All,

Today, I would be reviewing Issey Miyake L’eau D’Issey Florale Eau de Toilette, it was a gift from my husband from one of his trips. Though I prefer to buy my own perfumes after sniffing, but with this one, I was mighty impressed by his choice. It was purchased from Ulta at $72 (1.6 oz.) For your information, Issey Miyake is a Japanese fashion designer and like many of the other designers, he too has his own perfume line. This one was launched in 2011.

Product Description:
L’Eau d’Issey Florale is the pure expression of a flower. Its top notes smell of the breath of a barely opened rose.  This flower’s true nature, its dewy softness, is set against the sparkling and crystalline notes of mandarin. In the heart notes, the floral purity of lily, with accents of orange flowers, is soft like a caress. The deep scent of white wood travels along a trail of musk, giving its base the weight of a fragrance from the past.

My Experience with Issey Miyake L’Eau D’Issey Florale Eau de Toilette:

The notes are rose, lily,orange and woodsy and the sillage is moderate and very feminine.  The bottle is sleek and stylish and has a very contemporary look to it and the iconic pyramidal perfume bottle was actually designed by Issey Miyake himself and is said to have been inspired by the view of the moon behind the Eiffel tower as seen through his window while he was working in Paris after his studies.

This perfume is a perfect one for day wear or “not-so-loud” evening parties as it is a very sophisticated fragrance. The rose notes are prominent but well balanced by the wood and warmth. The staying power of the perfume is for 4-5 hours. This perfume is an epitome of sensuality and romance and I absolutely love wearing it during daytime as well as evening as you can never overdo this. It is slightly on the higher price side but its worth the money you pay. I genuinely believe that if you want to make a statement, you don’t need to be loud and if you too agree with it, you should definitely try this perfume. You won’t regret!!!

I have seen this brand in leading departmental stores as well as some online shopping sites, so you can have a sniff next time you visit the mall.
