Hope you all are doing well and Happy Belated Eid to all those who celebrated. We celebrated Eid with all our close friends and family and had a gala time. Now that all the festivities are done I am all ready to get back on track with my reviews which I have been neglecting for long now. I have lots and lots of fun new and amazing items to share with you all so stay tuned for that. D

As I have mention in few of my earlier reviews I am a big fan of it cosmetics product. I hope how their product can be very versatile and multi-tasking and also contain skin caring ingredients like sunscreen and anti-ageing. Infact a couple of my HG products from this line are the It cosmetics You Skin but better CC cream and It Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye corrector which I know I will repurchase always. Today I will be sharing with you another good product from this brand.

About The Product:

IT Cosmetics CC+ Airbrush Perfecting Powder SPF 50+ is a sheer to full coverage Optical Blurring Finishing Veil with anti-aging peptides, hydrolyzed collagen, niacin & antioxidants plus optical blurring Drops of Light Technology.

How To use-

For a skin-softening, flawless effect in just 30 seconds, gently buff powder onto clean, moisturized skin with your favorite IT Cosmetics Brush. Provides buildable, sheer to full coverage to be worn as a finishing powder or powder foundation. Talc-free formula can be used all over including around the delicate eye area, neck and decollete.

My Experience With It Cosmetics CC+ Airbrush Perfecting Powder SPF 50+

Packaging:
This product comes in a very sleek travel friendly compact. The lid closes securely. There is very good sized mirror inside and the compact and the sponge have their own compartment which keep the product hygienic. The sponge is of very nice quality and is soft and durable.

Texture:
This powder is not super finely milled like some of other powder product I have used in the past. It has a bit of smooth creamy feel when you rub it in your fingers. The powder is still very soft and silky.

Use and Coverage:
This product claims to be Sheer to full coverage which I do not find to be true. I find this product had some difficulty adhering to bare skin when used on its own and gives sheer coverage and is difficult to build up when used as a powder foundation. I find this product does perform better if you apply some sort of base underneath like a primer or a moisturizer which gives it something to adhere to. When used on its own I find I need to apply more in order to get more coverage out of it which is turns accentuates the dryness on my skin.

On the other hand I love using this as setting power. When I apply this over a medium coverage foundation this powder provides enough coverage to set the makeup as well as take the medium coverage upto full. It does set the makeup to a beautiful silky matte finish and takes away all shine.

Application:
My favorite way of applying powder product is a kabuki brush if am using it as a foundation and a fluffy brush if am using it as setting powder. I only use the compact sponge on the go.

Staying Power:
When this powder is used as setting powder. On my Dry- combo skin, It sets my face to clean shine free finish for upto 4-5 hours after which I do see some shine around the oilier areas of my face but the dry area pretty much stay flawless. It does need some touch up at this point. If I have not done any touchup I can see the makeup fade from the oiler areas of my face around 7-8 hours.

Shade:
I use the Shade Light in the It cosmetics CC+ cream and the same shade in the CC+ powder range also is a perfect match for me.

I love the fact that this contains SPF50+ which offers a veil of sun protecting which is beneficial if you are using this over makeup which lacks sunscreen. There is also anti ageing ingredients which may benefit the skin in the long term.

Overall. This a decent product in my opinion. It has some pros and cons and it is definitely not the best one out there. If I have to give a recommendation of a product in this same category it would be the Urban decay Naked Skin Ultra Definition Powder Foundation which performed amazing for me.

This product comes in only 5 shades hence finding your perfect match may be tricky. Also I do think this product will be best for normal- combo skin. If you are on the either end of the spectrum, too oily or too dry, this is not the product for you. This product works best as a setting powder and not as a powder foundation.
